Alexa is a well known ranking metric. Does it matter for any website? But, I personally found many outstanding blogs with >1 million Alexa rank. I agree that mostly direct advertisers advertise on <1,00,000 rank blogs. But, do you think as a webmaster I should give importance to Alexa?
Yes you are right and thank you for educating me. I'll keep your points in my mind. But, to my surprise advertisers are reaching me without considering my site's Alexa rank. I'm working with 4 direct advertisers and 20+ companies for content creation and promotions. The more you rank in top of Alexa ranking, the more internet users trust your website. Many online earners everytime they encounter a new online income opportunity check it's Alexa information such as where the traffic comes from to verify the information in the site if it's true. Other bloggers that write reviews also use Alexa to present additional information to their followers.
Alexa staats are fake. and one should never invest into the stats. You can see that it does not give you any money or client. the stats are faked as much as to attract people for sure. it's not worth it.
So true Mr. B I used Alexa to check your visitors demographics and a few other things. Many advertisers use this metric, the Alexa stats to decide if they advertise or not on that website. It's important!
It's limited info on Alexa, luckily I have implemented Google Analytics and I can show our traffic stats to all our advertisers. So true Mr. B I used Alexa to check your visitors demographics and a few other things.
