i'm pretty sure that you are always hearing from youtubers that adsense pays only few dollars that's not even worth the effort, but they do that as a hobby as they claim and they rely the most on sponsors, is that true ?

that might vary based on how many ads are in the video and from where the views are coming, but overall, average of 5 dollars for 1000 views is so decent, i don't know why they still lie about earnings

i was just asking if the earnings are low as youtubers claim or they are just hidding that they make decent income from youtube

Well, "decent" is subjective for everyone. For most people from third world countries $10-20 per day earning is enough to cover all their expenses, if you're living in another country however...

10 or 20$ per day can guarantee you more than an average salary in some countries, which means that's still decent, but people never appreciate that and when talking about that, they even mention lower numbers than that

Some people are just greedy. Some of the young You Tubers are from rich families so they will still complain even if their channels generating more than 2,000 USD per month.

AdSense is even trying I guess those YouTube's to try other advertising network and compare the profit they will earn , some offers 0.1$ per 1000 view depending on the country

same here, people built lot of houses from Youtube, and they still cry and lie that youtube makes no profit at all, everyone knows what's going on behind the scenes

yeah I think adsense is not profitable as youtube earnings ,because youtube viewers should watch advertisement to continue and revenue is higher...than adsense ..for AdSense the visitors need to click the ad for good earning..

Adsense also pays with CPM model, which pay based on impressions than clicks.

Even without AdSense there are still other options to make money there like sponsored ads ,affiliate methods and other should be added as well

I have heard this before,but there is something you cannot take away from Google AdSense.They are the pioneers in the business,growing strong and reliable.Over the years,one see thebproducts Google has churn out.I know of other sites that monitize sites but using Google AdSense is irresistible

Yeah AdSense is irresistible and publishers are finding it hard to get their approval because they can control as they want ,and other ad network are really not in high competition with it

even my friend (co worker) wont show me his adsense earning. the said that just to be preventive or stay humble. i am convince dthey make big money from it

they actually do, not to forget the money they get from sponsors and their affiliate links, i just don't know why they don't talk about it, maybe they don't want people to earn?

may be that is one of the reason. showing big earning to others may give good motivation for others to do the good thing, but also ay cause the others feel so envy
