Instagram marketing vs Facebook marketing.jpg

One of the first questions people seem to ask when starting a new blog, advertising a product, or promoting their website "What is better Instagram or Facebook?". These two social networks are very popular and therefore, it is necessary to examine the two and compare them. This way you'll have the best chance to succeed in your campaign.

Benefits of Instagram:

Reach: The social media site reaches over 800 million active members each month. The site has an average of 500 million people who visit this site and use it daily. Believe it or not, over 80% of these active users are outside the United States. Furthermore, this site attracts more than 1 million advertisers. These are great stats if you are planning a worldwide campaign. You have the possibility of reaching more potential clients that live outside the United States.

Engagement: Instagram seems to have the highest engagement rate of other social media networks. On an average day, the site receives more than 95 million photos and video that is shared by its users. What is excellent about this site is that users give out more likes than any other social media site online. On an average day, the users will give a total of 4.2 billion likes. This shows that people are interested in what is being shared on the site.

Traffic Engagement: For a company, blog site owner or even website owner this is important to understand how long a person will stay on a social media site. The average visitor to Instagram will spend 192 second or 3 minutes on the website when they visit. This rate is higher than any other social media site. According to a study made by Yotpo the people who visit Instagram stay 45% longer than the people who visit on Facebook or Twitter.

Demographic: This is important for companies to understand their targeted audience. The Pew Research group studied the demographics of the site and from that more females use Instagram than males. There is 31% of the women online love to use Instagram on a daily basis. However, don't be alarmed because there are 24% of the men online who use Instagram each day. This site is more popular amount young adults between the ages of 18 t 29. Therefore, if you need to target a younger audience this is an excellent site to consider.

Benefits of Facebook

Reach: So sorry Instagram, Facebook still reaches more active using on a monthly basis. According to the Dremgrow survey the site attracts 2.2 billion users each month. So if you are looking to boost your campaign this is an excellent way to reach more people.

Engagement: When it comes to the member on Facebook engaging on the site and liking the posts this doesn't fare as well as Instagram. However, Facebook still has the second highest engagement rate of all the social media sites online today.

Demographic: Facebook attracts more adults on their site. The site attracts 72% of adults that are online today. Much like Instagram, Facebook attracts a 77% audience of females. Furthermore, they attract a 66% of males that visit the site. Instagram is more popular with the younger audience, where Facebook is more popular with the adult audience. On Facebook, you'll find that the site attracts 82% of the younger population of 18 to 29, 79% of the population 30 to 49 and 64% of the audience 50 to 64. This is very important to know when launching a new campaign.

Ad Performance: If you are considering placing an ad on Facebook you are in luck. The ads are performing extremely well and have yielded an average revenue of $6.82 billion. According to Social Flow, each of the 1.7 billion users on this network is worth $14.17 in annual ad revenue for a company. The site shows a higher click-through rate for the desktop user and a higher CTR rate for mobile users. The ads placed on Facebook seem to do much better than ads places on the web.

As you can see Instagram caters more to the younger audience and has a much higher engagement rate than Facebook. But when it comes to other aspects of Facebook it seems to outperform. Therefore, it is in your best interest to decide on what your campaign is, who you want to target, and then choose the best platform for you.

They use WeChat there. Besides, facebook has almost every important and useful features. some ready made cash at hand that will enable you run the advert successfully without any problem .

as for me.. i will definitely go for Facebook.. reason you can easily generate quickly traffic and also create a page for your product while Instagram not.

As a platform you may used Facebook since it's most widely used social media. Especially here in our country where the people spend more time on socializing using their Facebook account. And for demographic you can easily attract others to follow you in a group page made by you and advertise your own business.

I myself prefer to launch ads Facebook to Instgram. In my country people use both but they use Facebook more. I have a business and I like to put my money on FB. However, now due to Covid-19, FB clearly states that they have reduced the number of employees so that the ad may take longer to be approved. That is a waste of time but we have to get used to what is happening.

i think it's better to work on both of them, because they are the best websites to make advertising and traffic.

for me maybe Facebook is better because most of people in the world use it

when compared to which is better, maybe Instagram is better than Facebook in terms of marketing, but in terms of product marketing, using a lot of media is better. then Instagram and Facebook must also be used in marketing without seeing which is better, because in marketing many products are better acquaintances, therefore all marketing opportunities that exist must be used so that it can be reached by the whole world.

You can get so much free traffic using instagram hashtags
I prefer instagram for free traffic
but facebook is good when you buy ads on it it's so specific and targeted

if the question is between Facebook and instagram, then it is definitely instagram! Guys, Facebook is the last century and now it is fashionable, cool and profitable to have an instagram account. But to make it cool, it will not be enough just to create it. You need to make it popular! My instagram account is perfect and all this is due to the fact that I decided to buy real instagram likes. In a short time, my views and likes have increased. These likes are not artificial, and this service is not a bot. For a little money, my account is in the top. You can't do this with Facebook, leave it to your grandmothers!
facebook is a great tool to sell things if you don't know about it
instagram is for youth but I don't think youth pay that much to buy things
so every platform has his pros and cons you can't judge

Both of them are good for marketing programs. In my opinion Facebook slightly better than the Instagram i think popularity of Facebook is bigger than Instagram
before years Facebook was the best and without competition with anyone from the other Social Media but now Instagram is also one of the best places to advertise your business.
I think the successful businessman use them both

I guess that facebook better than instagram because the first one has big number of users and most popular that's why it will be more productive

The good number of members on Facebook are there for the entertainment not the busineses of buying nor selling while most people on Instagram are active because there are lots of products been showcase by legit sellers that they can buy easily .

Here in my country, Instagram is better because of the huge number of people that have their account with them, I can tell you that most people login mostly on Instagram than Facebook most especially here in my region. Well Facebook has its own advantage, but I think that Instagram is far better

Just once I used the Facebook Marketplace. Honestly, never yet tried (but not even seen), the one pertinent to Instagram.
I'll let you know. Thank you.

There isn't Instagram marketplace. It's more like a very popular image sharing platform with huge number of usebase. You can promote many stuff there.

I see.
But, if so it is, I ask: How can I manage to sell my stuff on Insatgram, if there is not possible to put any ad / insertion, maybe, even just for Italy?
Thank you.
