Covid-19 impact is still staying and in fact not abating in US, Brazil, India and a few more countries. This means that offline business, Travel, Tourism would remain subdued till December of this year or may be further.
So what is your guess about the impact of this situation on Online Advertising?
Would there be a massive reduction, no impact or any positive impact?

Even now, with the lower number of cases of Covid, online advertising is becoming more accepted.
I've seen more ads now than in the past, and they seem to be doing better.

Yes, and we have seen even firms or Products not advertising Online jumping in. I used to see some Ads on TV only earlier and now I see some of them coming on the Net and advertising.

I think Covid-19 has created a lot of rooms for online business, including advertising because all most all businesses started selling online. During the lockdown, even the grocery store in my neighborhood started selling online. In order to sell online, he definitely ran an advertisement campaign.

Yes a lot of people are now trying for an Online presence plus many folks have installed card swiping machines for the 1st time during the pandemic - something that they never did earlier.

Covid Pandemic definitely shut down a lot of businesses, that's for sure. However, it also created rooms for online businesses to grow. The biggest example is Amazon. Since people were staying at home, they spent a lot of time online, and advertisers knew about this. The ad business grew during this pandemic.

Here in India, Amazon, Grofers, Big Basket grew manifold in the Online Grocery space. Then we also had the big player - Jio of Reliance Group which is now expanding its Jio Mart a lot.

Now I see some kind of lengthy advertisements also coming online. Earlier they were mostly on TV and Movie halls only, now they come in between YouTube videos and flash on some other sites as well.

Dating affiliate networks are the one that benefited more. People are stucked indoor and bored . With there dating link popping up. They feel engaged and fun when they do dating

Yet one needs to be very careful with different Dating Apps or advertisements. Some could be fake and baits as well.

Yes that is what I also beleived that online advertisement will never be affected at all because people do their business online infact this can even help increase traffic online since majority of people that stay at home get bored and they go online to releif the boring so they can help increase the level of traffic online,also many people look for a way to earn online they surf to make money since many business offline has been close because of covid 19 so this scenerio can help increase more activity online.

I think the pandemic even made online advertising very effective even though some of the advertising packages have been increased because of high demand. This is because most things were done online and people keep gaining profits from their adverts.

No, it is not a general phenomenon, it is just that some of the websites have decided to increase their advertising packages because many users are demanding for them.
