So hello guys. I'm planning to build a download movie website where you can download or stream online some movies. Is it hard to earn money here? I'm using php html and css and some java script. Some tips and tricks? Thank you!

How are you planning to do this exactly so that it is legal?
Will this be a paid membership website?

Yes rather find something different because you will only cause yourself hassle with this 'movie download' site.

Find your passion or something you can talk endlessly about and start a website with a blog then monetize it.

There are some of the download website which are adding the CPA based offers. And that can be option for those who have some of such download and the files that can be added as well. I have some of the small ssubdomains where i have hosted few CPA offers. And they seem to be earning few dollars here and there. But I have kind of the lost hopes on those offers. Who knows if I can get paid in such context. Hoping i can get atleast one payment.

Yes, I am currently finding some niche that I can enjoy blogging. So it will become successful someday

There will be several things to do.
1) You will need permission, maybe you will have to pay for Movies, otherwise it would be illegal. This will aslo make your earnings illegal.
2) You have to promote your website which is possible only if your website is legal under license to allow Movie download.
3) You will have to meet the demands of downloaders, so you will have to check your website everyday for hours, reply to queries etc. (Or might you will need a staff for it)
4) Updating new Movies is also another important work, people will leave a website if they do not find new Movies.

Hey guys...Is it really illegal I mean there are 100+ movie download websites....how are they surviving ?
I think best thing before making a movie download website is to talk to a person who owns one...

I think this is a good idea but the snag here might just be the illegality of putting up people's sweat to be streamed and downloaded without the intentions of paying royalty which you could be sued but other than this it a great idea.

you could make money through advertising network if it is supported.

Yes It is illegal, So I'm planning to build another site that is not illegal :)

I think you can start a streaming website, for people's watch online movies better then your plan, but you need to hide all your personal information on your stream domain.

Even if it has private domain registration, the companies with copyrights on those movies will fill DMCA takedown notice to hosting provider you have and they will shut down your website for conducting illegal activities online.

I.E. "streaming movies you don't own is illegal" and you can get in jail for this.

This is a Nice Brilliant Idea im watching movies online but does not pay me for my contribution the name of the website is watch32.is im surely know that websites making a LOTS :D of money beacuse of advertising popping in thier web page every time you click the movie and surely its have many visitors watching mostly people worldwide who dont want to go in cinema or movie theathers:Happy:

If I build a movie website I will try that every person that go to my website will have some money too. Like this. But I will not build a forum :)
