If, lets say bitcoin rose to 100k$, how would it affect other altcoins? To perhaps some coins being valued less then a satoshi each at this time, would it kill alot of altcoins?

I think the price of the Bitcoin will affect almost every altcoins...when there are fluctuations of the price of the Bitcoin,we experienced that the price of other cryptocurrencies has changed in the same time.

I think bitcoin will be this year green for sure, in my opinion who earned a lot in 2017 was holders and in 2018 same who short bitcoin, now bitcoin is only 4k so there is not much to earn for short, so we will increase i bet around 8-10k at the end of the year.

Yes, even I am bullish on Bitcoin this year. The trends so far have been positive for Bitcoin. And, as you have mentioned, it should reach around 8-10K this year if not more. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I've been watching YouTube videos so I'm an expert on this now. From what I gather BTC is just a medium of exchange. You basically have to convert to BTC (O ETH,LTC) from USD (or whatever) to buy any other alt coin. It's like the USD as the Petro Dollar exchange. So as it is now you will always have volume in the BTC(ETH,etc..) market because people are exchanging them write away into another alt coin. Just a quick look at market valume.

alt coin volume combined = 6 billion

So BTC might not be as relevant in the future as it is now. BUT, now it is firmly entrenched as a mode of exchange for the pyramid.

thats the main problem of altcoins right now, they follow bitcoin too much, if bitcoin go up they go up if bitcoin go down they go down.

I been watching the 100 list on different rating sites and the liottle chart to the righjt of mot follow BTC up or down. In Dec 2017 many coins raised much faster than BTC

As we all know Bitcoin is the king of cryptos. It has a firm hold on the path Altcoins take. At present Bitcoin is at a bear phase and we can see all Altcoins in a downward trend too. If Bitcoin climbs to 100k, it will pull many Altcoins price along with it.

I just want some TRX and Coinbase has my ETH on hold. Any one know any coinbase alternativs that don't make you go through crazy picture verification?

No I don't! Coinbase was a lot quicker beginning of last year and also accepted credit card payments. There must have been too many max out cc and went bankrupt and such. Now the wait and debit card only.

The trend has always been bitcoin leads and others follow, if there is such rise no doubt other coins will also have a speed rise though the percentage rise may differs. There is also a high tendency that more airdrops will sprung up.

Just like in an office the boss would say run me a Zeox of this to the secretary. Even though All the copiers ewre now Savin or Sony etc. Then one day a new secretary filling in for vacationing one came back and boss said Where are my copies? Y can wait for BTC to rise. Or buy same of the other ones like on Coinbase or XRP on Binance.

If I could of got in where I wanted I could have made %15 in TRX and ABBC the past few days. Instead I'm stuck at like -2% With Etherium for 22 days. Coin base should definatly be more up front with the there hold policy. It even still says they accept credit cards on one page of there site and they don't.

Debit cards they do. unless that went away too???

I first signed up with my DBA name and I was planning on funding it with corporate account debit but they won't accept any name other then name verified on the account apparantly for instant no hold transfer?

The other name could be a crook they feel. Y would have to get that verified too somehow .Easier just to trans funds into it using the verified one.

Still holding my ETH at a loss. I assumed that I would be able to trade on teh pro.coinbase.com(gdax) since it wouldent be leaving coinbase system. That is not the case though.

ETH fast and free when y finally get it! Y can use ETH on Coinbase to buy immediately I think. Then trans out the BTC or other to a diff exchange. Try that.

the economy itself would be falling to shit.
