@Andrej , do you have traffic? The most important part of a website is traffic. If you have traffic to your site, then the money will come to your pocket gradually. Now tell me, what's your niche? Quality content? If you have quality content and traffic, there are so many legit and smart ways you can make money from. Try to read these Threads for better understanding.

I think that Andrej has forgotten about his post, haha. It is bit impossible to truly help you if you only say that you will make a blog and earn money.

That is like me saying that I will go to the shop and buy apples. It isn't useful information.

Please explain more about your site. And what you're trying to do with it. I mean if you have say health blog. And you are doing X or Y with it. And what is working and not working. Unless you share that we can't really help in either way. We have to know what is going on with your site for that. I think the more you learn from others initially that will help you get ahead slowly but surely you'd do some progress.

The first thing you do is find your niche, promote it, gives more traffice, use seo, im also a newbie and I think this is not my line. So that is why im not into it.

I'm not into blogging so I won't be talking much 'bout technical things here. But I will give my thoughts about it. Blogging, as with the other websites are, needs traffic so it will become visible and afloats. You need to make people visit your site and making them busy there. You have to make your blog engaging, by answering questions or giving advises to your visitors. In fact, you have to make them register and be a member for instance. And make sure that they will return again to your site. And how to do that, of course you have to ask them or give surveys about your site and their experiences visiting your site. That's the key, plus you have to make your blog appealing and interesting.

Nice information, although the traffic from search engines will be great role in getting direct advertisements. When people knows our site, they will contact automatically, but contacting by us a new way to make money.

Ok I will give you more ideas - something that works well for me. When I setup a new page (I always tend to publish some news on daily basis) I will do these things - I will tell you how to save $ and get results. All these steps will take you few hours to complete.

1) Setup my website - lets call it ComputerNews - with some basic articles first (20+ so it doesnt look "empty" when first visitors arrive)
2) I will create a Facebook Page for "Computer News"
3) I will post 10x to my Facebook page, simply taking articles I wrote in Step 1. Make sure you have photos on your website's articles because FB will pull them

Here comes advertising part:

4) To get initial users I advertise in Picoworkers.com - this step is important because right now you have 0 LIKES and when real people come and see that, they wont click Like. Who wants to Like a page no one likes? When you go to Picoworkers and pay them, a Like there cost 0.04 (International) but if I select Asia one like is 0.03 only. Deposit $10 to Picoworkers, run a Small Job and you will get 250 likes fast and cheap.

5) Now its time to do organic likes - I will spend $10 on FB to advertise my FB page (to get more likes) but dont do it wrong! If you will run FB ad to advertise your page "Computer News" that will cost you a lot! 0.10 or more per Like! If you BOOST one of your articles that will result in 0.01 - 0.03 per Like! Its a huge huge difference! You must boost a post, not advertise the whole page! Try it...

6) Place traffic exchange link/banner on your website to the bottom

7) Repeat daily: Publish new posts (Website, Facebook) - repeat repeat

These are things that I do - its easy to get likes and later you have to publish 1 article per day to your website and also same article to FB page you just created. Once you did these 6 steps, you can think of other ideas - I will be happy to hear how to generate more traffic.

I agree with suresh! Get your own domain name and match it with keyword. But at the end of the day your content must be good. If you will just place a script to post random articles (like half or Bangladesh is doing) expect your earning to be $0. You are 15 years too late for that.

In case if you can't get exact match keywords domain, you'd need to do something else with mix word. For example say you are into credit card niche. And creditcardreport name is taken then find some other mixes like creditcard-depot etc. So such variations also can rank. You can use - in domain name. So this can be good enough for getting traffic too. Free blogs can be good though it's not all bad for them.

Making money with blog shouldn't be your primary aim, before you make money in blogging you must put the right pegs in their holes. Please you need to give key informations about your blog. Remember earnings from blogging don't just come In any how. Patience and creativity is the key.
