I have joined numerous survey sites hoping to make some cash according to the glowing promises in their advertisements. I sign-up and in most instances, at the beginning there are a few available surveys that gives some promise, however, soon after I get numerous alerts of survey only to be told that they are not available for my location. I guess if one is not from the US, as I am not, the survey are very limited.

I'm on the same boat @explorerx7. About 2 weeks ago, I joined Viewfruit which promises to be a good survey site because it is based in the Philippines so location is not an issue. However, the invites I get for surveys are all our of my reach - after clicking the icon and confirming my desire, the message would show that I am not qualified but the reason was not stated. On the second time I got that rejection, I quit the site. After spending maybe more than 30 minutes from registration to scanning the rules, etc, all I earned was 1 cent. Forget Viewfruit, it looks like there's no fruit in it.

We are in the same boat. I was too excited before to join any site which deals on survey. My excitement was ignited by the site earnings that I could derive from answering series of surveys. I was almost done when I was prompted with a sorry note that my area was not within their jurisdiction. Therefore, I was entitled for any penny.

So for the next survey site that I may be joing, I have to look for first the region or country to be covered. In this case, I won't be wasting time and I won't affected and frustrated for a vain attempt.

I've only had luck with Prolific and YouGov, but only made peanuts really. In both of them it's also really hard to reach minimum payout...and once I was able to complete a single survey in OpinionSample.
Everywhere else (MySurveys, Samplicious, SSR surveys etc), it's always disqualified, disqualified, disqualified.
But lately even Prolific is going downhill, partly because there's people using bots and web apps that check for changes...that and also blacklisting countries. There's word around that Prolific has started blacklisting bot users, but I haven't seen a legit ban yet.

Essentially, before joining a site I end up looking at the countries it allows. Some of them will allow you to join without telling you that you'll only get surveys if you're from "x" part of the globe. Academic survey sites like Prolific and Pinecone are also more reliable than marketing surveys.

Yep, same here. I hate it when they make it sound so good and "easy" to make money.. then I actually put in the time to solve the initial questions just to be met with "sorry no survey available" or "sorry no surveys available in your country".

It's frustrating.. but ye, I think if you wanna make any proper money with surveys that you have to be from USA.

For the longest time I've been discouraged with survey sites. It always seems like too much work for too little of a payout. The only survey site that I use regularly anymore is Prolific Academic. I find that their surveys are generally worth the time to take, they're consistent, and some of them are actually really interesting!

I'll always be on the lookout for other survey sites, though.

Same for me. I only do Prolific Academic now although I would love to get into Pinecone Research. It's so hard to get into this company though. You have to apply through their banners and I can never find a current one.

There are lots of survey websites where you can earn a good amount that can be available for non-US residents. However, I stopped doing surveys except those surveys apps which their questions are really simple.

Surveys are really boring when we don't really like a particular topic, thus the respondent has to be able to corp with this. Haha!
Moreover, some sites keep disqualifying the respondent will make he/she feel frustrated.

I have find many survey sites, but there is not many of them that I can work on here in Serbia, do you have some international site or something like that? I am sure that problem is not only here in Serbia.

Surveys are good and helpful only if you qualify for them. Sadly i never qualified for them and if i did i was not paid for them. So i don't like to try survey websites much but now i think i should join some and i can spend max 1 hour on them. Do you think its worth to give 1 hour to surveys.

I remember doing surveys before from iPanel. It was quite difficult to answer all the questions because the surveys are too long and can be confusing. I don't like answering lengthy surveys.

I have signed up with several survey sites only to get burned with so many and the only one that I recommend is Survey Junkie it pays $10 a pop or more once you finished the questions!

Yeah its most difficult to answer the longer surveys as they test our patience level and wonder after a long 1 hour survey if they said that you were not qualified and didn't pay anything or something like that, it will make us so annoyed.

What kind of survey questions Survey Junkie have? I also signed up to some bunch of survey sites however most of them doesn't have available survey for me. I am not sure if it is because of my location. :(
