HubPages Review.jpg

HubPages is a site that offers a freelance writer a chance to create a blog or weblog for free. On the site, you can earn money through their revenue sharing program or any affiliate accounts you have. Furthermore, you can join Google AdSense and ad the code to your sub-domain to earn money through this program. The site also has their own ad sharing program you can join to increase your earnings from your weblog. The site has a revenue sharing program that they split with you 60/40. This means that 60% of the time your ads are shown on your personal weblog and their 40% of the time the site will share their ads on your weblog. This is a good site to join as a new freelance writer, a video publisher, or even create different polls and quizzes for people to interact with. The site has been online since 2006 and is a well-established site that has thousands of site visitors each day. You are sure to earn some money from this site if you stick with it long enough and write different hub posts for your weblog.

How Does It Work?
  • You'll need to join the site and create your account. The site requires that you create a username. When choosing your username, choose it carefully because the username you choose will be your weblog name.
  • There are many sub-domains on the site and each sub-domain is the username the person selected when they joined the site. Therefore, you want to create a review weblog, you should choose a unique username to use.
  • Once you have all this setup, it is easy to add a hub to your sub-domain. The hub is the blog post that you create on the site and add to your weblog.
  • When creating your post you'll be using a capsule to create your hub with. There are many different types of capsules that you can choose from. If you're writing a review, you'll select a text capsule to use. However, if you want to post a video you've created, you'll choose a video capsule to use.
  • Once you're done adding your image, title, and test the hub can be published on your weblog.
  • Now you can share this with your friends or anyone on your social media account.
  • If you want, you can write as many weblogs that you wish for your account. Normally, most of the bloggers on this site will write around 15 a month. This gives your post time to be found and people to read it and interact with it.
How To Earn:
  • You can create a Google AdSense account and add the links to your hub pages or your weblog. The ads from this will be displayed on your pages 60% of the time. You'll earn money from the impressions that you get when your ads are displayed.
  • You can join some affiliate programs and write reviews. You'll earn 100% from your affiliate links that you embed in your reviews.
  • You can also join the site's revenue sharing program and share the revenue from the ads the site posts on your hub.
  • Join in the contest and earn money for writing about a specific topic the site selects. This is a great way to increase your revenue on the site if you win the contest.
  • There is a referral program that you can join. You can add your referral links to other hubs and share them. If a person visits this hub, you'll earn 10% of the impressions during the time the person is on the site.
  • As long as you keep your account open and the posts in your account, you will continue to earn money from the impressions that you receive when a person visit your pages.
Payment:

Each month on the 28th, the site sends your earnings to your PayPal account. You must have PayPal in order to be paid by the site.

Who has an account on HubPages and how do you like it?

Earning from hubpages is too hard.. Instead of writing for hubpages.. Its better to write on our blog or website to earn more money than hubpages..
Now you have the right idea on this one. I have several blogs and a new website I am starting. it takes a lot of time and effort, but in the end it can pay off with a lot more cash than you'll get spending all your time on HubPages.

As far as I have learned, I know that it is not easy to earn money on Hubpages. The earnings are slow and dependant on views on your articles.
hello really are you a member of hubpages?? and if thats really true! so hub pages is like common and the Same with mylot earnings and Views the Same like virily! if you Compared those Statistics of hubpages with Both mylot and virily!

I will not say that it is similar to both mylot and virily. The quality of the content that is uploaded on the site is very high. Moreover, the sites allows users to post referral links and get views from people who are not a member of the site.

I think the best bet is to combine the two, have a blog and also work with revenue sharing sites, combining the two would bring better income than just depending on one.

This can work well if your blog or website is doing good. It all depends on your SEO and how you've promoted this. You need the site visitors to make a good go of this and get some good affiliate marketing going on your site. But the site must be +3 months in order to even be considered.

Yea,well stated.I think getting the two running simultaneously will help net some good amount especially if one blog is yet to garner traffic but a site like hubpages have traffic already so we can earn from it yet while we wait for our blog to start running profit.

Hubpages traffic is back. And it seems like a lot of people are getting good amount of page traffic these days. so it's worth going for in such case. I'd say if you are curious then go with the hubpages for earning small yet regular.

I noticed that too because I'm also using the site,it a place one can use to make extra bucks, just be a little expressive with your articles and add more value to the content to drive more traffic to it.

I am hearing from a long time about Hub pages but i never intended to join it. Now i am thinking to at least give it a go and experience it and update here my experience about Hub pages. I really wanna do well with this but i know i need to work really hard to do well on it.

Certainly you can do well if you just decide to start writing for the site.Choose comfortable topics that you can write comfortably about to make it unique and start writing on them and then you can start uploading them.it a great site to make extra bucks from.

If you have some good material to add to the site that people would like to read then this is a good idea. I think the best material you write should be posted on your own website or blog so that you receive a lot of traffic there too.

I think if one is a good writer,he or she should be able to churn out good articles for both the personal blog and hubpages. So it not about just posting it on your blog but having more source of income from both ways.

The other idea behind posting on the site is for exposure. You can always write for 2 sites or more each day depending on how you can schedule your own time.

Sure, that's the best bet,for exposure and more income one can make frantic efforts to start working from even more than 2-3 sites,it all about discipling one's self to make more money by just working.

The only issues I find with all this is the time it takes for research and writing up the posts. That can take a lot of time so you won't be able to do so many each day.

I believe if one is earning well even from writing one article then writing 2-3 articles a day shouldn't be a problem or a loss in any way.if one can make $50 a day writing articles.I believe it better than 4-5 low paying sites work.

Article writing is always the best way to make money. I write for one site that pays me $75 for a 350 - 500 word article. This is a technical site and you have to really know what your talking about and how to write for them. I've been doing this for several years now and normally write 2 to 3 article a week for them.

one thing i Dont like about hubpages is you will be the one who would connect it in adsense in what they tell to me before but i dont know if its accurate information , and i thought before hubpages is like mylot but the Difference is hubpages pays a Lot more than mylot!, but if thier any other things to Do like the Adsense connecting , Definitly hubpages is a Complicated writing environment!

In Hubpages it is a bit more complicated that this. You also need to sign up with a few of their won affiliate services and use them in your own pages. Furthermore, they want articles around 1150 words, 3 related high resolution images, user friendly title and a lot of other stuff in order for this to earn money.

Hubpages used to be a very good and paying website early on but I'm not sure about it now. Haven't heard about it from a long time and no payment proof
