HTML or drop and drag when creating a website?

i think drag and drop its simple. but html allows you to create a lot of more things that a simple drag and drop dont allow you to make. but if you are starting drag and drop is a good option

Drag and drop is for newbies who want create simple website. But if you want learn create some more complex websites than you must learn HTML and stop use drag and drop.

HTML is the master of it all. All you have to do is to blend it with CSS and JS and you will be good at designing professional websites. I do not recommend using drag and drop.

Drag and drop is easier but it's also very limited in customization. HTML offers you way more customization and the idea of how the design works, although it's harder.

If you will use drag and drop for HTML I would recomend you Dreamweaver software or Visual Studio. You can find many elements and just emebed it where you want on site.

You can use WordPress and a professional theme like "Divi" from Elegant Themes.
This is the best website-builder.

HTML 5 and CSS 3 is better - but more work for you.

If you're new to website making, drag and drop's great. But if you are experienced, or want more complex or niche sites, you should try coding it yourself.

When I was learning, I found Codecademy's tutorials to be excellent and detailed. There's others available too.

html personally because drag and drop cant be compared to coding skills and certainly coding isn't that much hard to learn i personally learnt from tutorial , lynda , and w3schools alike so that's fun and learning

drag and drop is fine, there is no need to guess all day where a div going to be in the web page, it's good for design, after that you have to code the back end side of it, which is php or python, and even there you will encounter html and css.

Try to get the best of both worlds.

If you're new to coding, focus heavily on learning a powerful drag and drop system with few limitations (read: which lets you put in custom code elements).

Sooner or later, you'll want to edit the codebehind or put in some custom script or something, which will gradually introduce you to coding.

If you're an experienced coder, you can go any way you want. I personally use drag and drop as a solid base so I can quickly sketch things out etc., and combine it with custom code as I require more in-depth control.

This also depends heavily on what you're building. Specialised tools, web games etc. will require more custom code than standardised websites like blogs or even membership sites. Today, there are flexible pre-built solutions for sites where the core functionality is common. No shame in using such tools.

Any style where you're pleased with the final product (and the path there) is a good style. My fellow programmers should know this and not clash around technicalities. =)

HTML5 DND API is the way to go.You will have the best of both worlds with this. You can implement drag and drop features on your site with this api.

This should help you :- https://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_draganddrop.asp

This is a cool way to do things, thanks for sharing.

Many asking me what would i prefer to choose if im going to create a website. Thats why I ask you too to get your opinion about this.
If you need a website on urgent basis so you can use wix .com , yolasite .com or wordpress but if you want to learn and want to create a perfect website which you meet all your requirements and desires so you should make it in html.

If you are going to be building a simple website like blogging website or simple e-commerce website then you really do not need to go deeply into web development. Watkins and other content managing web applications that can allow you to drag-and-drop is the best for you and you can also be able to make you save a lot on your budget.

A drag-and-drop website builder is a potent tool that enables you to quickly create and launch unique websites.Although there are many such tools on the market, the finest ones come with an interactive website editor, a content management system, and frequently even an e-commerce platform.

This is an excellent alternative if your website's specifications match the builder's capabilities and you want to quickly develop a functional and aesthetically pleasing website without coding. It's simple to start with a polished design because most builders provide a range of templates to choose from.

How many of you plan website structure before start coding, like place for footer, content, sidebars, widgets, ad places, navigation? I did this planing in some bigger project even I just edit template. This is even more important when I convert HTML files into PHP files.
