I did trading back in 2015 back when I had $200 and I did picked up some wrong trades and though I followed a mentor but his trades in last felt wrong and made all of followers a 30-40% loss in a month

Most of us were from middle class families and we had to stop trading since we couldn't kept that going despite our tries and that was our experience and mine as well

How you tried and your first experience ?

my first trading knowledge came from when luno company came to my school to learn about how trading works and others , through that way I was able to learn how trading works ,but the first time I invested I made loss of about ten dollar ,till I start learning to trade properly

Thanks for your input , when I had started as I had told above I had made a bigger loss ; particularly not following the mentor ; because I thought that he is not a true mentor and actually his trades I don't know some were won took high fees , but his followers lost in the end too with market crash , so when you make loss on own , you are still satisfied then having it from others .

most times the regret is always too much if mentor gives you the wrong direction from his mistakes and the person places wrong trades ,it's the reason I usually advice traders to look for a better mebtor before placing trades,so their finds are not wiped away on the other end

My first trade was with 200 usd i was scared. It was a success but i only made a few dollars because a little movement on the price and i will trade. It helps that the assets was doing quite well back then market was healthy. Then i loss a couple of times after that but it was a lesson learned so it's okay

I've lost my entire portfolio, about $100 while trading after loosing more holding coins.

I used to earn from paid to post sites which paid in cryptocurrency and that was my capital. My worst mistake in all of this was that I never used stop loss in my trades.

Things may have been different if I had done that.

I started my trading journey specially in crypto from 2018 during my summer vacations of my college. The result was obviously a small lose , though I learnt a lot of new things that day from trading. Then day by day , I started getting used to the trading , and was able to make profits as well in between. But to me , trading is not at all easy job for anyone untill and unless he/she puts complete determination and dedication while trading.

Thanks for telling the truth , it does happens in life but you can taking it as a learning lesson which is an asset in case of the knowledge you acquire by investing in a market and potentially being a shareholder , lots of people learn this way , they lost much but then they gained back from other thongs so you can't blame their strategy of investing .

Till now I have not started trading, but I am interested in it. Right now I am trying to learn and understand everything related to it and soon I will start doing trading. Today I can to know about the mini trading account I guess I can start by creating that mini account.

My first trading was a decade ago, and I did stock trading. I believe shortly after I trade there was 2007-2008 financial crisis that wipe my investment. Thank God it was only a small amount of money. Luckily I held and recovered it all a few years later lol. Because of that experience, I become more and more into investing and not day trading. Nowadays, I just keep my portfolio up via dollar cost averaging, and only cash out a small portion of it after there's abnormal gain.

That's good and do you mean that you make a withdrawal when you have a small profit in your portfolio , I guess you tried to say the same , and I would just like to know what was the starting amount you used when you made a first deposit into any trading platform or exchange and what was the average profit or loss you incurred or gained by the first month ?

That's not it. After you own a portfolio or mutual fund for several years, you should be able to calculate the yearly return when the market is good, bad, or average. When the market is good (or super good), you can cash out a portion of it or pause your DCA because the price is too high. This is the time to enjoy the fruit of your investment a little.

IIRC I started with $500, and then went to $200, and cash out completely at $600 a few years later. It was a waste of time really because I started on the brink of crisis.

OK , I was actually thought that you invested into the Crypto market I'm more of a stock come Crypto investor and so I have done everything in short career as a trader , I can genuinely say that you don't have to actually invest all funds ever in a single wallet or asset because that is how things start to get on bad track for you actually and can become upside down at any moment of time eventually .

I started trading for about 11yrs ago with Liteforex and back then the deposit wasnt that too high you can deposit back then with as low as $1,
after then I proceed to trade on crypto but crypto buy my hand and I decide to quit forex trading and do only crypto but I latar started trading forex agin recently so years dosnt matter what matter is your ability to trade perfectly

That hurts. To earn about $100 from paid to post sites alone might have taken lot of time and losing it all by forgetting to setup stop on loss parameter pains even more. I have the similar experience though I lost money that I earned from ptp sites in gambling. Trading is the one I never tried because I don't have patience even now.

There are many brokers in forex market offering low deposit and most of them are scams actually so the market has such risks first of all , Secondly it does take a lot of time to earn from forex and thirdly you get patience when you have responsibility of some thing to be done in a proper and responsible manner .

Actually when I started trading, I was just a novice to the cryptocurrency world and I had to make research on how to go about it. Finally I decided to start trading with just $10 dollars.
My aim was not even to make profits but to learn how to do basic things in the cryptocurrency market like buying coins, swapping coins, sending out coins to another person, and also withdrawing my earnings.
And of course, yes, I did encounter severe losses at that point in time.

At first time many people make a business loss and that is possible on trading as well since it is a high risk game and therefore many people have stumbled to some loss when they started alike everyone but trading does makes you a lot of benefit as well , if you learn it properly and are long term investors. the ones that always hold long term make a profit , while short ones actually do become negative at some point w.r.t Revenue

Trading is a very big difficult task to do for a beginner because there is absolutely no way you won't lose some amount you first started. The only way out is when you have a mentor that would guide you. Aside this, there's no way you won't record losses when you newly started because you you're not conversant with the market sentiment and in the process of trying to learn how the market works, you may lose some amount of money along the line.

When I first started selling beers , I wasn't so conversant with the market and I made the losses of about $200.

Sorry to hear about that ; I too had discovered and learned trading the same way actually and not all people make a loss some start making profits directly

It depends upon the person , his mentors and his selected assets as well

Only those succeed that tale long term action and don't care about short term action actually .
