Seafood is one of the most hottest selling food items in many different parts of the world. Seafood is also quite expensive as well. This is because it is quite risky to catch animals from sea. Having said that, seafood might be much more expensive in many landlocked countries. This is because people in those countries may rely on imports of seafood. I live in a country which is not landlocked at all, but still seafood is one of the most expensive items in here! So, how do you start such kind of business? What is the profitability of this business?

First thing is to have contacts and places or location where you can store food , next thing is getting cheap supply when you have access to both options third is marketing or distribution, when all things are there then you can succeed in this business with your effort actually indeed which is the way to go about such business options .

You'll need to decide what type of seafood business you want to start. Once you've decided on the type of business, you'll need to research the market and determine whether there is a demand for your product or service.

Yes that is a good suggestion the most important thing is to know what type of seafood you intend to start and where can you buy at affordable price.
Then you need to know who are your target audience are the in the local area or urban area.
Then location of the business and power
Because you need to store it

I believe conducting thorough market research and identifying niche opportunities in the seafood industry that can set your business apart from competitors. It's also important to consider factors such as location, financials

A market research and survey is a bit of effort before you start any business. But one should never undermine the importance of it. It might seem a bit of extra effort and even unnecessary at times. But doing it will help you plan your business better. And even save your unnecessary efforts later. Look for the competitors in the business, the kind of business in demand and the prospective clients. In our country, seafood is a luxurious food. So, if you have good fancy restaurants around, you get your prospective clients.

I believe conducting market research and survey is an essential step before starting any business. It helps you understand your target market, competitors, and the demand for your products or services. This information can help you make informed decisions, avoid potential risks, and ultimately increase your chances of success

Very well said. It's like going with better preparation and having a more clear picture. One can't totally avoid the risks in business. It's rightly said that business is not for someone with low risk appetite and a weak heart. But definitely a thorough research helps to reduce the chances of potential risk or atleast get well prepared to handle it.
