I have a moderate size of unused garden so I'm thinking to grow some vegetables and sell it.
What is the best strategy to offer my product ? is it better to sell it raw as it is or convert it into a meal product ?

Selling vegetables is a really good business if you have a fertile garden/farm to sell them. Personally, I would prefer selling them raw. But it really depends on where you are and what the people there prefer to buy.

I think if you want to check the market sales of both then I suggest you give the both a try with a very small quantity ,then see the best one out of the two

Vegetable business is a good business that is in demand however you need to have a steady number of customers that will be buying from you because vegetables are perishable thus you may not be able to store it easily

Yes, the offside is that vegetables are perishable, i usually consume my own harvest but sometimes i got sick by eating it everyday so i'm thinking to sell it just don't know where to start.

Start from your neighbor , advertising to them that they can get their fresh vegetables right from your garden , with this they will prefer your vegetables because it is fresh

Your environment will determine the best strategy to use in selling it , the most important thing growing them in large quantities because veggies are things needed daily.

Thanks for the suggestion! I could try it once it's time to harvest.
Maybe i'll try to give them free one time, so later on they will be interested.

Yes, i live in a housing complex, near me i have 2 other small vegetable vendors but they don't grow the product themselves, they buy it from local market about 30 minutes away from the complex and re-sell it. Perhaps i can try to sell it to them with lower price.

Very opportunities for you to tap, those people are known in the business already, you just need to meet them discuss on wholesale price with them and start from there. Wholesales business is more lucrative because rate of turn over is high.

You have got your market right there. You actually don't need to be a retailer if you don't want to. 30 minutes is long enough for them to want a cheaper and closer alternative.

Wow I think that's the best business for most people trying to start out in the local market. First I would encourage you cultivate a variety of vegetables then sell them raw to your customers. After you have accumulated some profits from that save some to enable you continue cultivating ,then the other sum start a small business having a meal to local customers having identified a good location to have a good market.

I think you should give it a try and when you want to start checking the two and see which one is good , start with selling smaller quantity of raw vegetables

Starting a vegetable selling business is a good business anyone can do its part of farming system so if you want to start a vegetable selling business you need to ensure that you have a good farm to carriedout the production since people uses this everyday to cock for themself

Vegetable business is one of the best business if you have a good farm land, when you plant it you make money by exporting to various location be it in the local area and urban ,but you need money to fertilize it well

Yeah I think it all depends on the kind of farm land the person has then he or she would make more cash ,on selling to different units

If the farm land is big and fertile obviously the person will expand his market to enable him make more sales as you know some of these vegetables are highly perishable.
