I recently made an app with visual basic, and before publishing it, i uploaded it to virustotal to scan it from viruses and i found that it has a malware, the issue is that it's already compiled and i really dont know how the virus got there.
I still have the source code in visual basic by the way .
Any tip about how to remove that malware ?

Decompile the software, remove the virus and then scan it again. Or compile the software again by using the source code and then scan before publishing.

i still have the software uncompiled in visual basic, but whenever i scan it with both malwarebytes and total viruses, i find out that it's virus free ...

Huh? And after you compile it again the virus somehow slipped in there? That's quite strange case you've got there. Sorry, I don't think I can help you more than this.

yeah that's the main issue lol, i still don't know why it's happening since the source code is completely clean, anyways, thanks for your attempt, i really appreciate it

Try do a complete and total scan of your whole computer, a virus might be hiding somewhere in your computer and then slip into the program when you compile them.

Scan it using a full fleged antivirus like Norton or BitDefender or McAfee because Malwarebytes isn't techically an antivirus and see if you get the virus still.
