When we talk about search engine optimization, we are actually talking about a variety of different tricks you can use to help rank your website pages with different search engines. These techniques will also help to increase the number of visitors to your website.

So if you are new to building a website and ranking your site in Google, it will be necessary for you to read on.

On-Page SEO

First off we have on-page SEO which is used to optimize the pages on your website. In on-page SEO you'll need to be concerned with the following aspects of your site pages. If you a look on the forum there is an excellent tutorial that will go into complete detail about On-Page SEO and what you need to know and do on your website. So in this tutorial, I'll be skipping this section and will refer you to the tutorial that is already here on the forum to read. Let us move on to the next important aspect of SEO and what you need to do to improve your ranking in Google.

Off Page SEO

Off Page, SEO is a lot more than just link building for your website. It goes much deeper than this and there are many techniques you can use to improve your Off-Page SEO.

High-Quality Backlinks: When you work on backlink building it is important to build the best high-quality backlinks for your site. This is one of the hardest aspects of SEO, but it is one of the most critical. Without high-quality backlinks, your site can't rank for competitive high traffic keywords.

Broken Links: At times a site will close down or change their URL. If you have linked to a URL that is no longer available, your visitor will be redirected. Therefore, it is necessary to spend time on your website and check all the URL links. Make sure there aren't any broken links on your site.

Skyscraper Technique: This technique was invented by Brian Dean. There are 3 different steps that you'll need to do in order to improve your ranking with search engines.
  • Locate linkable assets that you can use over and over again. According to Brian "Authority is the name of the game".
  • Improve your existing content and make it longer. Make sure you add more keywords to your existing content.
  • Reach out to other website owners in your niche and make contacts. Linking to pages of authority is a great way to rank in search engines.
Guestographic Method:

This is a 5 step method that s great for link building.
  • On your website post a relevant infographic.
  • Now locate sites that are in your niche that write about the same infographics.
  • Contact them and show them your infographics.
  • You should now offer the website owner unique content he can post on his site.
  • In doing so make sure you get your contextual backlinks in return.
Guest Posting:

We know how important it is to guest post on another blog site that is in your niche. Reach out to some site owners in your niche and offer to write a guest post for their site in return for links back to your site.

Blog Commenting:

When you comment on other blogs in your niche this is a great way to show your presence and establish backlinks back to your own site.

Social Media:

It is so important that you are active on the different social media site. This way you can share your links and it makes it easier for people to find your website.

Promoting:

This is one of the best ways for people to know you have a new site online. You can promote your new site on forums in your niche, social media account, and different blogs.

These are the top way to help rank your site with the different search engines.

Do you have any other ways that you use to help promote and rank your brand new website?

Keyword research is the first step when it comes to search engine optimisation. If you are just starting out you need to charge it lots of less competitive keywords. Better still you need to go for zero competition keyword you know that receive traffic fast on your website. Of course, you are going to write content on those keywords as fast as possible. It will be very good if you can increase the number of content you publish to your website on the first three months. Once you have done all of these, the next thing is to start building authority of your website through backlinks. You can focus on guest posting and niche link insertion to get started.

if you write interesting and necessary texts for people on your site, then no more action is required, the site will move automatically and quite well, because it will be a natural link, which is very popular with search engines!
Even if you write an interesting article without knowledge of search engine optimisation you may actually not be successful after a long period of time.

You need to try as much as possible to promote your website in so many platforms and you can also use social media platforms to promote your website.

Having a YouTube channel and simultaneously having a blog will also be be good because you can be promoting your blog through your YouTube channel and you can be also promoting your YouTube channel through your blog.

You done well. You've said all there is to say about ranking one's website on google. The most popular methods i've seen people use among the websites you listed above are; blogging and social media platforms. Most people prefer using social media platforms you blogging. Their reason is because people hardly read blocks whereas, a lot of people are very active on various social media platforms.

The information shared by the thread poster is very educative and informative as well. It is definitely one of the ways at which you could rank on the search engine results pages. If one could follow all the steps that was highlighted above, it will go a long way to help rank high on the search engine results pages.

Searching for less competitive and highly demanded keywords is one of the best ways to rank your website. However, I personally think that when it comes to SEO of you website, you must depend on various different things rather than relying on one thing. You must focus on generating traffic through Youtube channel, blog promotional websites, social media, etc.

it's very important for a blogger to work on his content before thinking of his blog been ranked well on google , because if his content is well cordinated and properly written ,I think obviously it would be indexed ,so the blogger needs to put more concern and effort in working on that before anything else

Decent content with proper onpage optimisation, proper keyword research and a great Off page strategy, I.e high quality pbn, niche edits and/or guest posts. And you'll rank good.

yeah I think the high demanded keyword and others would really help improve the ranking of your page , most people actually don't normally take concern regarding keywords , they actually don't know how keyword have Been really helpful in indexing pages and others

There are many other things that you could do. For example, you could use highly demanded keywords and write content. After that you could start promoting it on social media and also market it on blog promotion sites such as Bizsugar. Marketing hot content on such kind of sites will raise your chances of increasing readership.

Thank you for the information. But the facts remains that only Google know the real criteria they are using in ranking websites. I have done all the known on- and off-page Seo, but all efforts seems to be in vain. In all my effort, I have realized that for your site to rank in the first 10 pages, start producing quality contents and pay attention to your social media pages.

yeah good content is a measurable yardstick for actually getting your website ranked , because without good content the person won't get his blog to the platform or rate he or she wants it to be , good content would also help in seo ranking too and many others

I've been trying to get a traffic to my website for a couple of years now but I'm not yet successful. I don't understand why it is so hard to gain traffic. I've seen many websites and blogs getting traffic for a copied content.

Maybe some filters have been applied to your site, and you don't even know about it!? I think it's worth hiring a good seo specialist to check everything and give recommendations on the next steps to move in the right direction and solve your problems! But there is still a big problem, where to find this specialist and how much this service will cost! If there is absolutely no money for it, then it is worth learning all this yourself so as not to pay others for it!!!

The aforementioned tools may help you uncover certain keywords, but the best approach to find out more about how to rank well in Google search engines is to purchase tools that do so.

There is no easy way to rank; you must put some effort into it. Do you know how difficult ranking for good keywords is, but what if you quickly achieve that position?

Good talk, in addition to that it is possible to elaborate on this field by searching in Google itself
Google visitors generally make a look in the website then leave the platform so it is better to use another method like PPC compaigns or pay per duration or pay per signup or pay per lead to increase your revenues.

Using the above tools you may find some keywords, but best way to get paid tools that offer more information how to rank easily in Google search engines.

There is no way to rank easily, unless you put some strength into it. How about ranking for great keywords, do you think how they hard, but hat if you get that place in no time.
I'm using a keyword research software called LONG TAIL PRO which also help me with competitor analysis. This tool also help me in finding domains, check rankings in Google, Bing, Yahoo and the most important calculate keyword competitiveness after which I decide to build a site from scratch for that specific niche or pass to another. I highly recommend LONG TAIL PRO!
Wow nice one indeed, the niche seem not to be too popular,so it definitely means it is less competitive, just keep being good at it,and command so much respect in your niche,I think I would try it out,and also I must commend you on building a website from scratch, honestly that is the best approach, instead of using drag and drop features, despite the fact that most websites today are powered by WordPress, but that doesn't mean building a website from scratch is not necessary or not relevant, truth is that building a website from scratch is the best, starting from implementing html,CSS, and JavaScript coupled with some frameworks,so keep it up bro, see you at the top

What's your niche? You may actually work on your niche. What's your keyword, long tail or short? This one as well can help you. You may start by using short one to drive traffic and then focus on long to earn.
