Alibaba.com is very popular ecommerce sites where lots of trading activities go on. I have not used this platform since it inception, I am planing to buy a machine from the site which is about $700. I wish to learn tips from those of you that has bought stuffs and shipped to your destinations successfully from alibaba.com.

Alibaba Sellers most of them are big comapnies and suppliers
so maybe you get some reducing
Also I have an experience with Aliexpress and it's a part of Alibaba company
it's great experience to be honest they are always there if something happened

The issue with high costing items is that at some point you will have to pay the importing fees which increases the value of the product too

The manufacturers or the agents do calculate all charges before giving you the final price . For instance the agent I contacted told me he charges $5 per Kg if am sharing via air.

You need to check the ratings of sellers before purchasing but then Alibaba has a wonderful escrow service and your money is secured, if you don't get your goods you will be refunded.

Research has also shown that some seller do buy the gold rating so the best is to check the companies reviews and pay via trade assurance method.

I have made enquires with lots of sellers there are they are ready to sell for me because $700 is not that small amount and you are allowed to buy test samples. I just want the pandemic era to go off so if can order safely.

Alibaba is mostly for wholesalers, so most of the items sold there are in bulk, but if the seller has agreed to sell a singular item to you, as long as you have concluded negotiations with the seller, you goods will arrive safely.

Buying from a verified customer is not the challenge, but how secure is payment made to the seller. I need a system that Alibaba will hold my money till I recieve the goods before they pay the supplier.

Well which country do you base on because most times the shipping cost of some country is really high, and you need to budget up to like $1k , if you are to buy the machine

I visited the Alibaba platform yesterday and found it to be a great site to purchase stuff online. But I learnt that they are mostly wholesellers, but its okay if the buyer agrees to sell you the single machine. Just contact them and see if you come to an agreement.

Alibaba for big dealers and businessmen. That why they deal with a bulk number of products. Before ordering something from that site, first demand to give a sample of that product it would be more trustable for both sides.
Negotiate deals with your data of knowledge and research base. And must before ordering research enough about that site.
