I have been into promoting a YouTube channel for almost an year now. I have tried advertising through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr(not much headway), and Instagram. However, some people say that certain videos can be promoted on Pinterest as well.
How to go about it, as I do not see people watching much on Pinterest, nor any active commenting stream there, that can tell if someone is interested.
Any guidance in this respect by anyone here?

you can post picture in same niche as your youtube channel and those pictures must be like the thumbnail of the video so when someone see the picture he can enter to the video

Yes, I see Pinterest is more or less famous in these areas... They have really good ideas and good presentations as well. And so, I say that the creative sections get a good traffic on Pinterest and thus promoting the youtube videos can account to good benefits over that platform.

I know! That's why I find it very addictive. I can never log on for a few minutes, I usually spend hours on the site because of all the amazing creativity on there. But I have never used it to drive traffic to my blog. Apparently, you can also earn from there but I don't actually know how.

yeah a lot of people are using it to drive traffic to their site it's really amazing you need to try it, just make a post there about what you are talking about in your blog and post the link

Thanks so much! I certainly need to make the most of my account there and not just give other people mileage. I've never really given it much thought - don't ask me why? Clearly, I've been having too much fun on that site and neglecting this very crucial fact.

That's absolutely true! But this is so embarrassing - I've yet to jump on the TikTok bandwagon? My 7-year old niece is a HUGE fan and keeps sending me all these TikTok videos - that's all the experience I have of the site LOL!

you need really to know that tiktok is huge opportunity right now it's still new and have so much people on it you can build a business on it very fast and it's usefull

The majority of users on Tik Tok are kids and cringy teenagers, so don't expect much from it now, at least until more mature people are using it.

Depend of your content but i think pinterest means women cause many pinterest users are women so if your content related to girls thing then pinterest is way to go

Nah, Pinterest isn't just about women products. You just need to find a relevant groups there that fits with your niche. And then start working on it like crazy.

Create thumbnails. That is tiny like pictures in the Pinterest so that it can lead them to your site or YouTube page. You can also use social media to refer them to your pinterest site and ultimately to you page.

When I search for things on google I usually get and see Pinterest pins, I'd say create pins on Pinterest that link to your YouTube channel or video ?

Choose good niches and try as much as possible to master it or at least be good at it. Niches like beauty, interior decorations and how to videos are really good to start with. Good luck.

I would surely keep these things in mind, and gradually increase my presence there.

Yes YouTube studio is the one that I have been using since a long time for tracking my videos' analytics, as well as tracking comments.
