I have been into promoting a YouTube channel for almost an year now. I have tried advertising through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr(not much headway), and Instagram. However, some people say that certain videos can be promoted on Pinterest as well.
How to go about it, as I do not see people watching much on Pinterest, nor any active commenting stream there, that can tell if someone is interested.
Any guidance in this respect by anyone here?

Exactly. YouTube doesn't just grow through SEO only. There are some things that we have to put in place which may include spending heavily to ensure that we have the best result. Some may not do all these but want a better result for their channel

At the same time, you see that some people say they just started their YouTube channel a few months ago and they are already earning while some people have been doing it for long and they are not earning yet
It depends on your level of knowledge

I think it is still better to use Facebook or any other social network aside from Pinterest and not because Pinterest is not good but I don't think a lot of people make use of it like they use some other social networks

Well, it is good but I still don't like anything that has to do with pinterest. Well, it is not bad but I just believe that it is better to make those advertisements on social networks instead of making use of pinterest

YES! Purchasing ads on any social media (Facebook. Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.) is costly when you don't have any money. But if you have a few dollars, it might be worth your effort. So far I have never used Pinterest ads. The best thing to do is to join Pinterest group boards. They tend to have lots of followers so there is more chance of people seeing your oins.

I think I did join some Group boards back in 2020 and 2021.
However, after opening up Post Covid, I am almost inactive on Pinterest.
I have shifted focus more towards Twitter.
