I'm new to blogging, I just opened a sports blog on blogspot platform, I don't know how to make my blog show on Google, also I would love to learn how backlinks work.

Just index it using Google url inspector. If it is WordPress,you can add auto indexing plugin and that is all. You will can see your website in Google.

you need to work on your SEO AND meta tags. you should use keywords that defines your post and that should be very eearch oriented. and only then your site is going to be seriously show on the google and in the very first page.

bro you need to work on seo to index your page/ its need some knowlage i suggest you to go to utube and search about seo / there are bunch of tutorials and in this forum you also can learn seo too/ making blog is not the game /promoting is the game..,

Yes, you would probably want to research the process on how to index your page and don't use any kind of tools to index your backlinks because natural indexing gives you better results. If you use tools to index backlinks fast its temporary and google doesn't like these types of links any ways to index.

If you had put your a link to your sports blog in with your posting you would have created a back link.

I would suggest putting your blog link into your BMF signature.

I've got the same question and I'm sorry if the answer to this question is obvious. Would you mind explaining how to create backlinks - is it just literally inserting links within the article? Also, does BMF charge anything for us to attach our blog links to our BMF signature? I've previously had to pay someone to create backlinks for me but if it's something I can do and save myself precious $$$ I'd be totally made up. TIA ?

Organic traffic is best, meaning people see your link, take interest, and click.

No charge for signature link on BMF, and you post a great deal,
this a huge benefit (free traffic) you are missing out on. ?

Sorry if it's a silly question, but what exactly does Google want besides the basic non-plagiarises, well written, SEO-rich articles? Also, does it matter what page on Google you appear?

I recommend you to open google trend. Then you gonna know what people search in targeted area and targeted time. It is very helpful

Thanks for your recommendation but I'm not sure I understand? So, are you saying I should look up what's trending on Google searches and work with that? If that's what you mean - sadly, most of the trends are not quite in line with the focus of my blog.
