Google Adsense is an advertising platform that enables bloggers to share in their advertising revenue. Google get products, services, and brands to be advertised on their network and to reach a wider coverage, they decide to use bloggers web pages and at the same time reward site owners through placing these ads on their pages for a pay. To enjoy this opportunity one must own a blog, a forum, a YouTube channel or a site that is in consonance with their terms and conditions.

how to make money wtih google adsense.jpg

Money can be with Google Adsense through the following ways:

1. Own a blog, forum or website to make money:
Do you have passion to write then create a blog or forum and write about what you have passion for, it can be on just any niche, advertise your blog, promote it, drive traffic from everywhere online especially your social media account and monetize your traffic with Google Adsense by signing up and placing ads banners on your site. AdSense pays using this three method cost per click (CPC) for every click on your ads banner you get paid, click through rate(CTR) pays for the percentage of visitors clicks on ads per numbers of people that use your site and also by revenue per impression (RPM) this is calculated by 1000, this simply means the number of times your visitors saw the ads on your site.

2. Start a YouTube Channel:
Do you like to make videos then, create a channel on YouTube for free and upload them; it can be on anything provided it interesting or valuable and people will love to see it. Get your friends, followers, and families to view your videos. Check your channel and enable it for monetization and connect this to your Adsense account, make money from the viewers' engagement on the ads on your videos or video sidebar. So start uploading your videos now.

3. Make money from other sites using Google AdSense:
There are sites that have incorporated Adsense into their sites and just need you to partner with them and you can share from their ads revenue, so if you don't own a blog you don't need to worry, just register with sites like HubPages, ehow.com and others and start uploading good contents to their sites and get paid from their Google Adsense revenue.

There you have them, start acting now.

Do you have a website @Aphrodite? Without a site is impossible to make money with Adsense. In case you don't have I recommend you to create a website and before you apply read how to get Adsense account approved. There's couple things you should keep in mind otherwise your application will be rejected!

Everywhere I go, I always see people suggesting monetizing blogs and websites as an easy way to earn some money. I've never tried to seriously use ads as a source of income, but I wonder how long it would take to get started and get steady earnings from them (around 50$ a month, I'd say).

My husband has 3 blogs that are all registered with Adsense. But his blogging is not regular like other bloggers for blogging is only a diversion for him. He would post when he has time to spare. He was surprised when he received a notice from Google via postal mail. It is the $100 that can be redeemed in any Western Union outlet. At first we thought it was a spam or scam. It took a week before my husband tried to check with Western Union. Gee, it was true. He earned that $100 in 2 years time and the next $100 for another 2 years. Now it is running on his 3rd year but the $100 is nowhere in sight yet. Maybe because his blogs are somewhat inactive.

I once received a mail just like that one, bit this was many years back when the Nigerian schemes were on a high. I ended up not looking into it. Both the adsense account and the e-mail account are both inactive and even if I wanted to access them I don't remember my old e-mail nor the password. Oh well such is life.

It's more than just a question views, but click-through (by that I mean how many people actually click/buy stuff through ads). Depending on what topic you're blogging about and what demographic you're catering to, the numbers vary.

After some google-fu I'm not really seeing any solid numbers regarding Adsense on blogs, so lets assume the numbers are similar to YouTube. The rule of thumb for YT is 1,000-pageviews = $1 and each subscriber is worth $0.08-$0.25 depending on your content.

$50 a month it would be more easy, if you could write some good articles every day. The best CPC program is Adsense that will pay money on time with highest click through rates.
@TheNapier
Can you tell, what if we could buy subscribers and do they are worth $0.08-$0.25.

Well, there are several issues with buying subs.
A) google/youtube/etc really doesn't like it, so you'll get banned from Adsense if they find out.
B) they wouldn't be 'real' subs, which means that you probably won't get actual pageviews from them and/or they won't click on or buy stuff from ads.
C) they're not going to help share or really grow your content at all.

So, no, they wouldn't be worth anything more than likely. The only value they offer would be the inflated statistics on your page.
The way I see it, it's not worth buy subs unless it's your first few-hundred (just to act a bit of jump-start so it looks more serious to people coming it), or you're buying a LOT of them. As in a few hundred thousand.

How long it will take to receive decent money from Adsense depends on your activity on your blog and your blogging niche. If you publish quality informative contents you can make good money in short time, however, if your blog is most of the time just personal stories or creative writing, it can take years.

It's true just like we should act as real promoters and they are real subscribers to to get leads. I used in startup and then in middle too some times to push it again as active Video.

YouTube mainly ranks as per stats what I believe, but it should have some genuine too.

It is silly to talk about adsense without talking about your traffic. You are going to make a few dollars per 1000 visitors. If you are only getting 10 readers per day, then yes it will take you years and years to cash out.

Unless you are getting 2000 or more visitors per day, you should probably find some way to monetize that has a lower cash-out. Adsense has a high cash-out because they do not want to worry about people with 10 pageviews a day.. the cost to monitor those sites is not worth the income they bring in.

What 'lower-cashout' monetization plans do you have in mind? Not being flip, genuinely curious. I have a couple personal blogs I don't run for profit, with relatively low viewership, but I've been wondering lately if there was a half-decent way to make a few extra bucks off of them.
At least 60,000 views a month doesn't feel completely impossible, ha!

When I started my first website 5 years ago it took me 3-4 months to earn a stable 100-150 euros from it every month.
Now this amount 5 years ago was very decent for me to have it, lucky this lasted almost 2 years then site gone from SERPs.

Well the short answer is a long time, because I factor in all of the time that I took me to learn the very basic things about the internet and online business and all of that, and that was a lot of time for me. It added up over the years, of course, but that is just the time when I grew up and my own circumstances, so I am sure that it is different for everyone. Once you get going, though, you tend to learn quick and making the first couple of dollars is always the hardest.

If you use bank account transfer, Amazon Affiliates only has a $10 cash-out. I just started using Zazzle affiliate which has a $50 cash-out. My personal experience is that Adsense is the best way to earn the highest amount of money, but the $100 cash-out is a little tough on people who don´t get a lot of views.

The quality and quantity of traffic is everything, if you have a lot of traffic but no one is willing to click your ads it will take forever to get paid. Then again you don't have to pay to have a adsense account so anything you might make is yours.

AdSense is only effective if your site has a lot of traffic. You can't even operate your AdSense account and make money out of your site through it unless you meet their minimum traffic requirement. So I guess the best option here is to optimize your website first (which may take between 3 to 6 months depending on your SEO efforts and product lure). Then another waiting period to get your AdSense application approved (around weeks to a month).

A friend of mine had gotten onto that whole "coconut oil" hype-train a few years back, and started a blog about all of it's advantages. He was managing to get hundreds a month for over a year with that, without ever having to update it. Naturally, after that year the money decreased rather rapidly, but it was still amazing to watch.

So it is 100% possibly to get $50 a month, just write content on a current hype/niche, and they will come.

Unless you are cheating by buying clicks, traffic is traffic. While there may be some fluctuations in ´want to click´ ads, I really don´t think it is anything to worry about. If you get 10,000 visitors a day, there really isn´t any way you are going to have ´ad-friendly´ or ad-unfriendly´ visitors... it is just going to average out. Probably the only exception would be if your content is very tech heavy, and worse, about ad-blocking. Always cracks me up when I see articles about ad-blocking using adsense as their monetization model.

The reality is, adsense will only work to your advantage if you have got alot of traffic. That is the hard part. For a blog to reasonably earn money using adsense, it requires 6 months. That's why at the early stages of blogging, its good to advertise your own products so as to generate a byline to keep you going.
