The good news is that we can turn this addictive passion into money making so to help us have a more productive experience using our social media platforms.

Don't keep on wasting away with these platforms; money can be made with them through the followings ways.

1. Be an affiliate: Get to register with any marketplace with affiliate program like Amazon, Clickbank, Konga, jumia register as a partner generate your ads code links and share it with your friends and followers as the click to buy from your link, you are making money through the commission that would be paid to you.

2. Act as a middleman for a fee: Connect your friends and followers to a product on any of the marketplaces, convince them to buy and they buy then you become 20% richer for just that effort. Sounds great, right?

3. Manage social media platforms for busy and lazy business owners: you update your status daily, likes and comments on different links for free, why don't you do this for money. Get to freelancing site to place a gig for this or you look around freelancing sites that have micro jobs of this nature, signup and start making money doing what you do for free.

4. Be a Brand Ambassador: Don't just take those photos and selfies for free, meet with business owners and agree to promote their products on your Instagram account for a fee, you'll be surprised at how much you'll be paid for this.

5. Make money with your videos: Do you make good videos whether a song, tutorials or how to do videos, you can put them on your YouTube channel, monetize your channel with any ads network or with an affiliate program and make money uploading them.

6. Be an advertiser for a fee: Are you good with human relations, can you convince people to buy products and drive sales to a merchant site, then contact a site owner, discuss your terms and conditions with them and start advertising on all your social media platform to drive traffic and get paid on your terms.

I only know of the mylot which pays. you can see that a lot of such social networks are going to have their own limits. very few have now left. and I don't know if there are any that acitvely pays. so on that point i'd say making money through social media is hard. in such case you have to be influencer. and you have to spend the money the right way too. I have not much earned personally. my following is very low.

there are so many ways in which we can make money from social media these days.You could use your facebook to advertised your affiliate link,get to any of this affiliate program whereby you sell products for commission,get the link to your facebook for your friends to buy their product through your link.

Most paid forum have referal bonus for refering new members,you could post your referral link,asking your friends to sign-up through your link and your gain 20-40% of referal bonus.

If you have your own product you can still sell using your facebook to advertised,this same method is applicable to twitter just tweet your links and tweet about your product,a retweet by your followers can make your ads of your product go far and wide.

instagram is another good avenue of making money,you could make a video of your product advertising to your followers for them to buy or you can advertised goods products,services and brands for advertised for a fee.

Yes I am on that site too. But earning steem is lot harder. You'd earn 1$ on BMF easier than the 1$ on the steemit. each one of has have their own type of the issues. so it'd not be reasonable to have that much time spent on the social media. so not putting effort there as of now.

There might be some paid social media websites, I was a member in My Page 5, however it charged more fees and did not pay me once. Admin promiced to pay later when I complained, but he did not honour his promise. He charged two months and paid for one only, so I left it leaving nearly 30$ extra there.

Well yes I have three social sites , making me earn quite handy. On social sites the earnings are slow as a matter of fact and you need to be efficient to grab on your lion's share. The best thing about social sites is you can earn for free :)

It would seem like it takes a lot of effort to make money off of social media sites. It can certainly be done, but you would have to attach your name to a lot of things and that might not be for everyone. There are several other ways to make some money online, but I do suppose that those would be nothing like you might be able to make from advertising revenues if you were to go that route with social media sites. Do your research like everything, though.

There are some social media though that share revenues to members. Some shut down already. Some are still operational I hope so. We need some insights from members here with experience.

I don't like social media as a marketing tool. Majority of people who follow you are your friends. Depending on what product you are promoting, I think you're unlikely to get many customers. Facebook, for example, has a limit of 5000 followers. People get double the traffic on their websites per day.

I think promoting specific type of the programs definitely add up to earn money. I have seen people making some serious money with the social media. though it can be taking more time in general. but if you are working ahrder on this then it's possible. just make sure to add more leads. and this slowly adds up to your own business. I have lerned to manage the business with effective leads but social media is very volatile and takes time to earn.

My friend actually has a Facebook page where she sells some items. So far I can say that she has been quite successful on there. It seems that her page is growing. I think that she has also advertised her page. I have recently started online selling and I am trying to find ways to increase my customer base.

LOL. Affiliate marketing is promoting other products through links and if some buys through your link you'll get a commission. How can you call it Affiliate Marketing if there is no products involved. Ridiculous!
