It's not too hard to get accepted for adsense. Just make sure you provide your real address because they will post you a code that you need in order to gain the ability to withdraw your earnings.

When you first place an ad, you may find for anywhere up to 48 hours it will be blank. That's normal - just wait, and Google should soon approve some ads.

Another way to earn is sponsorships - see if a food company would pay you to promote their product in a recipe. Keep it subtle, but make sure that you clearly disclose the fact that it is sponsored, otherwise you may find yourself on the wrong side of the law.

The problem is they will use blackhat tactics while running Facebook ads, why do you think they rent so many Facebook advertising accounts?
It's because they get banned very often, also you can get into trouble with Facebook due to this, I would stay away from such shady marketers.

This means you are missing somewhere between $20-$50 per day, not sure how much is the CPM in the recipe niche but 5k visits is good amount of traffic and if I were you I would work hard on creating a website but not for recipe something else that gets approved by Adsense faster, maybe apps reviews, Google services reviews etc... and after that put the ads on your recipe site and earn passive revenue. You have to take this seriously. It's possible and you already have most important part, a source of free traffic.

It's pretty simple actually. Just state in your post that your fanpage is accepting advertisement, and then find and ask some potential sponsors if they are interested to make an advertisement on your page.

Agreed. And just adding, a tips for not losing the members for advertising, make sure to keep the balance between "real" contents and advertising. Too much advertisement would make your audience uncomfortable.

Here are some of the easier methods that I would use:

1) You can post recommendations of products from Amazon, e.g. "I really like this new electric mixer which makes the whole process so much easier" etc.

2) Open a YouTube channel where you post compilations of receipts, e.g. show the process.

3) Start to give up "secret unique receipts" and hide them behind a paywall.

The possibilities are endless, the firs tone ie easiest and fastest though.

Wow...300k friends should not be too difficult to have on Facebook since Facebook its self suggest friends everyday. All that is required is to have nice page with incredible contents.
