just an advice , never ask such as questions like 'how to make X dollars per week/month/day etc ... ' because you'll never earn the ammount you want (unless it's cents) at the first place , you need to start first , then the earnings will increase , the more time you spend , the high the earnings increase , you can even earn more than 50$ , but all of that need time & patience .

There is a lot of methods to achieve it. Don't go for bucks and surveys because it does not have a future. 50$ you can get for example for affiliating, promote some stuff even in your friends group. Start some small site related to things that you like, and you'll achieve it easily.

I can not tell you that you will earn $50 from online. You may earn $0.1 or $100 per or month depend on your skills and the client/web page have work. When I started freelancing in 2009, I got lots of work like bees are flowing over my head but I could not catch as I did not have that much skilled and I could not handle over work. Right in 2019, I have seen more workers than works available. Even, old days were really good than now as client paid me on time and no account closed. Now, in 2019 you need membership fees in some work site and account can close any time and also, employer might not pay you. All you have to do work where you get paid and that is best for you.

there are so many site you can make money online as a student, and I think upwork is good but first you need to have a good freelancing skills,
we all need money for various reason mostly as a student its not everything that your parent can provide for you so try Iwritter,upwork,and postloop.
They are all paying.

I am sorry I am also new here .I am no idea about how to earn passive money but I can understand that you want to support your family to .Then I have a advice please search some more site it will help you and all the best for your future.
