I'm not afraid of hackers, hackers will always try to hack, especially when there is money involved. Here are some tips to keep yourself and your wallet protected:

-Enable two factor authentication
- Strong 16+ character, a strong password generator is suggested. The password should contain, letters, numbers, symbols, captials, make it strong!
-Enable a back up email(if you can)
-Keep your recorvery pass phase safe.

Anyone else have any other suggestions?

Well stated. I like the security measures adopted by faucet hub, one will need to paste some code sent to ones registered email before logging in.This helps to keep hackers and intruders away.

It dependes on your purposes. If you are making payments in person and not online then a mobile wallet is a must with highly authentication of course. If you will need to make frequent payments then it will be best to keep your funds in wallet that is easy to use and accessible. .

Two factor authentication has made security of most wallets stronger especially blockchain in which you can even link you Mobile number such any attempt to access the site as code will be sent to your mobile number for verification.

Nice one, all the tips you mentioned are measures I have taken to ensure my wallet is secure and I even linked it to my mobile number and so far no threats. I use both blockchain and coinbase

Thanks for your advice, I have utilizes all the tips you stated here and so far, all the wallets I used ranging from blockchain, coinomi and coinbase have been very secure and threat free

I use coinbase and wirex. I have enabled two-factor authentication on coinbase. If I try to access my coinbase account from a device and IP address that I normally use, I will be asked to verify through the code sent on email as well as on phone. This kind of security level will help you secure your online wallet. However, this kind of authentication sometimes might cause a problem because you will be asked to verify again and again.

Better to secure your Crypto-currencies to a hardware wallet if you have a big quantity of Crypto-currencies. It will cost you around $100-200. If you have low quantity, then software wallets will also be good.

I also did the same, intact by two factor authentication is through my mobile number such that when I try to access my wallet, a code is usually sent to my device which I will use to access the wallet

That is one way to keep it safe, the other way is too ensure you have 2 factor authentication activated directly to your mobile number.

Please tell me more about these hackers! Because so far, as I know, blockchain is most secure and hacking is nigh impossible. So I thought that all wallets are always secured and even if people know your wallet address, all they could do is send to you and not get from you.

So faucet hub has good platform and strategy for security measures, huh? I might try this!

Faucet hub micro wallet has a 2 factor authentication for both mail and mobile phone which makes more secure, I have used to store coins for two years and they have not experienced hacking challenges so far.

Faucethub is good for accumulating small bits of cryptocurrency from faucet claims, but it's a online wallet and you don't keep your private keys. I use coinomi instead.

I also used coinomi wallet too, I secure though the Mobile App is not as secure as that of blockchain app where you create pin for access. The faucethub micro wallet can also hold coins for higher amount, I have kept $50 worth of bitcoin in it for days without any challenge.

Faucethub is a good way to temporarily store small amounts of cryptocurrency, but for larger amounts it's best to use a wallet where you control the private keys. I'm not saying faucethub is a scam, but online sites are very prone to hacking and they have chances of shutting down or turning scam.

With Exodus I try to make a backup of the recovery checklist. And also have the password and secret words. So it helps with the recovery of exodus. I have stopped using any other wallet than this. I do have uphold but there is hardly any money in it. So most of the time crypto wallets for me are pretty much safe so far. But we don't know in most of the cases.
