Hello guys, So will be 18 months for me in June since I decided to learn affiliate marketing. I'm still busy blogging. I think I would like to make this work more than anything else but not really any of my posts seem to be converting. I know I need to rework a lot of my old content that is a given but just lately there have been days that it has really been getting to me. I will keep going. At the moment I'm setting out lists of things to do every day. I'm hoping my efforts arent in vain but any help would be appreciated.

So, I am aware of the formula - Traffic, Leads, Emails + Conversions. I think I do OK for traffic but I am really just struggling to make conversions at the minute.

On my health website - I have a simple email form in the right sidebar with optin cat. I have a 2nd form giving away an ebook a bit further down. These are quite new maybe 2-3 weeks old. I've had 1000's impressions but no one wants to sign. Also, I have an exit pop-up giving away a free ebook and I'm trying to add Thrive Leads widget tailored to certain posts with relevant ebooks / PDFS. I haven't set up on every post but still yet to see any sign-ups. My website is in the healthy living and wellness niche if anyone has any suggestions will be great to hear from you.

People need an incentive to deliver the email, try to put a digital bait (Ebook, mini course) in exchange for people to register the email, I'm sure that this way their subscriptions will increase.

Yes, I think this will probably be the way for me to move forward. I have been trying out a few different ebooks. None really have got people's attention to be fair. Although I think I have a lot of work to be done - _ I wonder if this is maybe it and I need to tailor different lead magnets for different posts. Do you have any suggestions for lead magnets for my healthy living and wellness website?

This doesn't directly help you with your question, but I can give you a suggestion to increase your revenue from the website itself since you get an ok amount of traffic. It's a plugin you can install to your website for free and helps also speed up your site, it doesn't interfere with your ads network either, and they pay via PayPal. It only costs money if you decide to purchase a bigger plan beyond the free one, and you stop the plugin from working automatically once you reach the limit of the free plan (in this case it will restart automatically once the next month starts). Visit link here!

If you do end up using the plugin and purchasing a Business or Enterprise plan down the line, I would be highly grateful if you could email their referral email [email protected] and mention me ([email protected]) as your referral so I can also get a reward. If not, that's okay too, I'm glad just to help people here earn more!

Hmm, I don't have an option to give an invite code on the dashboard, I wasn't asked one either when registering. I guess that's a new thing? I looked into it a bit, and you can email them to get one on the registration tab.

I looked into arc.io read some of the reviews online sounds very risky.
Risky? Would you care to elaborate on that? Just now I've checked the reviews on Trustpilot (which I wouldn't trust anyway for genuine reviews, people trash legit sites there all the time because they can't figure the sites out before jumping to conclusions), and noticed most 'scam' complaints are about the people not getting paid after reaching the threshold of $5. But, that's just not how the site works, your site needs to be approved before getting payouts + the default payout frequency is MONTHLY payment, which you can change on your settings whenever you like (below are the settings options on the dashboard):
  • Weekly payouts are made every Friday at 8am GMT+3.
  • Bimonthly payouts are made every first and third Friday of the month at 8am GMT+3.
  • Monthly payouts are made on the last Friday of the month at 8am GMT+3.
So most likely these people didn't change the settings before, and so the payment may come weeks after reaching the $5 minimum due to that.
Another point I have regarding the status of the site, some people do not meet the criteria of the site and therefore may not receive payments. At this time, you only need to meet 2 criteria to get approved (direct copy from their FAQ):

What websites can use Arc?
At this time, Arc is appropriate for sites that meet the following criteria:
  • Safe for work (SFW), or "Facebook friendly", content.
  • Organic traffic (i.e. not just pages to AFK on).
All sites are reviewed by a real human on our onboarding team for approval.

I've used the widget for a few months without any complaints from my readers + they've always paid as scheduled. Below is a screenshot of my personal earnings from their site + email confirmations from PayPal to show proof they actually do pay. Right now, I haven't added any new content on my small site since early June, and I still keep getting paid.

Interesting. I will maybe need to take another look I think I would definitely welcome those payments I think atm but how about SiteSpeed does this affect this at all?

Arc.io is a CDN, which means it has the opposite effect; instead of slowing things down, it speeds your site up + doesn't interfere with your existing ads or display ads on its own. To give you the best answer would be, test it out yourself and check if you notice a difference. My site's performance is bad already according to speed tests due to majority of the site relying on images so I'm not a good example, but so far my own experience has been positive with Arc. And, it is free to join, so if you don't like it, you can just remove it and never use it again.

Thanks but it's been weeks. They dont reply yet.

A very literal point of view the only way that you can get people to sign up for your email list is to ask them to do it. First of all you can be able to do this by actually building a website around it and then giving away free products like an eBook where the criteria to get it is to import your email address.

I suggest if you're looking for more list on your email you should utilise the social media tools like; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and WhatsApp and also you should also offer promotions, discounts and giveaways which can draw people or the target audience to your affiliate marketing site. You should also post your link when attached to your post for easier access to gain users

A lot of people right now are very reluctant to join emails because of the way in which it has been set up and people no longer see email as a networking app. That is why it is important that you should first of all give them a glimpse of what they are going to be getting whenever they sign up or better still you can try to give them something free in exchange for their email address like an eBook or if possible and free subscription to your premium.

Even right now, I'm always very cautious before clicking on any random links and I keep on getting email notifications from sites I didn't even sign up for or I'm not literally interested. It is very good to be cautious because there are some links when once you click on it, your account will automatically freeze or your account will be hacked as well.

Something that has worked for a lot of people in the online space is that you should have the ability of giving away a free material to people who you think are going to be your potential audience. You can be able to issue out a criteria that anybody who wants to receive a free giveaway rest of us his address cry to your mailing list.

Exactly and so many entrepreneurs online do not realize the power in giveaways which isn't only limited to monetary value. You can give away something that is even more substantial than money which can be squandered. Some affiliate marketers would just create a WhatsApp link where you can join and offer mouthwatering talks on how profitable affiliate marketing is and just urge you indirectly by forcefully to first watch their YouTube videos. I see all this as not necessary and not a good drive for audience and promotion of sales because you're only trying to promote your YouTube channel and you're the only one benefiting.

There are softwares that affiliate marketers use to gather emails based on their google search.
What could be these softwares, I need an idea? I know affiliate marketers adopt various means when marketing so they could amass traffic for their website like; posting of their affiliate links, utilizing the social media platforms like; Instagram, Twitter, TikTOK, WhatsApp and Facebook to get organic traffic. Although some do opt for paid traffic but it's not always feasible because the aim which is to sell or advertise your products and services to customers to get patronage might be futile.

I think you can pay people to join your email list. You can pay people here on beer money forum and they will definitely join your email list. And you can also run some other promotions which can help you gain attention of people and you'll add them to your email list. Do you understand?
