I think the best way for encouraging people to visit your website is by posting movies that are in high demand. for example there are so many people that cannot afford to subscribe on Netflix but if you can bring those movies to your website and I'm very sure that people will keep visiting a website because they know that he will surely have the videos that they want to watch

For a movie, you would face a lot of competition. But one thing I like about the movies niche is that even though the competition is high, the audience are so many that by all means you would your own share.
The easiest way I always promote my movies links is on social media like facebook, twitter, instagram and tiktok.
What I do is to find the latest upcoming movies and take note of their release date, use a video editor and cut out the interesting scenes and post them on any the social media I mentioned aboved.
After that, share the post link to similar groups and exercise some patience.
