This is one difficult task Ihave tried to solve all the while. Occasionally I see very interesting videos on Facebook that I'll like download and keep the copy but don't know go about that. This info is a welcome development.

Well, in the past I've used save-video before to download my Facebook videos. The trick is put "magic" in between "face" and "book" (www.facemagicbook.com/videoexample92848794).

From what I've tested, it doesn't work for every video (depending on the privacy settings), but it will work if done right. Hope that helps!

but i have another easy way to download video from youtube :)
for example if the link is https://www.youtube. com/ watch?v=key
you just need to put ss in front of youtube.com
just like this https://www.ssyoutube. com/ watch?v=key

Thanks for the alternative. I usually use IDM extension to download embedded videos.

Thanks for the link. Although I have my own way of downloading facebook videos. This one is really handy.lol.
Usually, I download videos using firefox and using m.facebook.com as facebook url...then all videos will be downloadable. just right click the video you want to download and select "save as". Thats it!
