Exchanges are now accepting people to purchase Bitcoins using their bank debit card. One reason this is possible now is that the exchanges are using an anti-fraud system to accept payment. Unfortunately, this will incur higher transaction fees for you. If you'd like to buy some Bitcoins using your debit card, visit some of these exchanges below:

How To Buy Bitcoin With A Debit Card.jpg

Coinmama:
This is a great exchange with a very good reputation. The exchange has a fast turnaround time for each transaction that passes through them. The exchange is only open to people living in the United States. Furthermore, you can buy a wide variety of cryptocurrencies through this exchange.

Cex.IO:
The exchange has a good reputation, but they also impose a high buying limit. You will have a limit to the number of Bitcoins you can purchase at a time. One way to get around some of the high buying fees is to deposit your funds into your account using your debit card. Afterward, use their company's trading platform to buy your Bitcoins. You'll save quite a bit of money this way.

Bitpanda:
The exchange has low transaction fees, they offer you multiple ways to pay for your purchase, and they have an easy to use interface. This exchange is only open to people living in Europe. You must be a resident of the EU in order to use this exchange.

Coinbase:
The exchange is well-known as a reputable Bitcoin broker. This exchange allows you to purchase Bitcoins using your debit card. There are no fees when you buy with a debit card, however, there are fees if you use your credit card.

Bitstamp:
This is one of the oldest exchanges that gives you multiple payment options. However, this exchange is known for not being friendly, taking a long time to verify your transactions and it is limited to the US and the EU. The exchange offers a brokerage service when you purchase Bitcoins with your debit card.

Virwox:
The exchange is open worldwide and they don't have a verification process. This exchange won't sell you Bitcoins directly. They will, however, sell you Second Life Linders (SLL) which you will use to purchase your Bitcoins with.

There are many companies of wide range which offer such services...you can try them out Google is your friend..but be careful when trying to buy btc online so you don't loose your details to fraudster
There are some legit wallets that offer you to buy bitcoin online. For example you can also buy bitcoin through the blockchain wallet, if i am not mistaken.

You can try out coinbase they are good and fast but you have to verify your account before you can buy or sell or you can try out coin mama
yeah that is the concern that i have with many of the sites. I prefer to stay away from kyc verification sites. It seem dangerous to share that information online, especially when crypto is supposed to help keep us anonymous.

Try Paxful. They cover most of the countries and accepts several payment methods. They use an escrow when you trade so you don't have to worry to be ripped off by vendors.

I have come across a lot of these sites that allow buying of bitcoin with debit card, but my fear now is won't all these Scammers have a way through it to start duping people of their money.

Thank you op for this post. I have been looking for a way to buy btc with my debit card. I will definitely look into each of this and see which one works best for.

Buying bitcoins with your credit card is not a good idea in countries where cryptocurrencies are outlawed, as there may be some problems with law enforcement after that. But still, most often such operations are carried out without consequences ...

I tried most of them
But some of them tide verification Process and some of them have high fees
And some of them Don't our support our county
Its hard for 3rd teir county people for buying btc with card

I still refuse to believe that buying crypto with your debit card is the best due to the high level of risk involved in online transactions.
Though it more convenient but the risk involved is too high.
I hope my reply was helpful.

I didn't say it is not all safe rather if you choose to do so, you just have to be a little extra careful in other not to compromise your card details. It's all about applying precautionary measures.

After seeing this review, I went ahead to coinbase to try buying crypto. But I cannot see any buy button or any. I am a verified account to level 2. I am not active in coinbase but my account is still accessible.

Buy bitcoin with debit card is little bit easier in india than the credit card, because in India all people have the debit card but most of people don't have a credit card and the use of it.

Thanks you very much BMF, the administrator, for this educative and informative post. It's very good the exchanges are using anti-fraud system to accept payments but the higher transaction fees being incurred will be a no no for most people. This could discourage them from buying using their debit cards and some exchanges don't even allow some countries to do this.

You can make on many exchanges now, Bitpanda, Coinbase, simple and easy. They also give pretty good promotions for first time doing that :)

buying bitcoin with a debit card is pretty easy as most online exchange sites accepts payment with visa card and master card and all that's required from the buyer is having the correct details of the debit card like the correct card number, expiry date and cvv2 details as well as the pin number of the debit card.
in Nigeria where I live and work the best site to buy bitcoin using a debit card is called luno.
and you can buy as little as 500 naira worth of bitcoin, the only thing is that you can only withdraw to the bank account you linked at registration

It feels good to hear that many ewallet exchange platform includes the option to buy coins with bank debit card. But I don't know if I can use my country's bank debit card to purchase coins from their site, because I know some countries are restricted to use such option.
