Hi guys,

A member reported to me that there are people saying in other comments the raffles we run are manipulated in a way or another and this is not true.

The first accusation is that I choose the winner and second is that I don't show which member entered and how many tickets were bought for each raffle.

Let me explain, so the raffle system we use is developed by Snog, here's the features list and as you can see there's no option to set the winner manually or show how many tickets were bought by the members, only admin can see, don't believe that list, go install the software on your xenforo and see yourself. I can see there's an option to show who entered the raffles and I enabled it today, however, it doesn't show how many tickets one member bought. Anyways if this helps in any way there you have it.

I believe these hate comments started when a new member won our last raffle and the prize was 20,000 BMF, his name is @SatanUnleashed7 , I can see the guy is from Pakistan and got couple refs already and couple comments. You will believe this is real guy and winner when you will see him posting the payment proof on our forum, but he still needs 100 posts to cash out.

Now let me tell you that all raffles are sponsored by me from the ads we run on the forum, the raffles do sell some tickets but never matches the amount we give away.

Now let me show how many entries we sold on raffle #12 when we give away $20.

Now you can see these raffles don't make us any money, but we still run them, why? Because members love them and we like to give back as much as we can afford.

If you have any questions or comments leave a reply. Thanks!

Long life BMF!

Regards,
@Mr. B

Sorry to interrupt but I feel we should have a long thread like other website have where in we can make as many comments we want and winner will be announced from random number generator but it's free to comment. Rewards can be decreased a bit but it'll help most to comment on it and will make the website active most of the day and may help Beermoneyforum to generate more revenue from ads as it'll prompt most to comment and stay active.

Of course we will take this idea from another website but I guess we should adopt good things. Hope you can consider it someday.

This generates trash posts and showing ads on such low-quality threads is not allowed by Google AdSense. Plus again choosing the winner with random.org is not 100% proof it was chosen randomly like the raffle system we have, there will be members saying I chose the number myself.

The raffle system we have is very good, but if there are members that don't trust our integrity and brand they should never play at our raffles.

Raffles are raffles. I guess if someone enters and doesn't win, they're just going to call it rigged. Can't be helped.

Keep up the good work @Mr. B. I don't play, but I'm happy for those who win.

I did participated a few times in the Raffle but never able to win it but I'm sure it's genuine and no one can do any manipulation in that and @Mr. B is one of the most honest persons that I have ever seen, if not the best. So I have full trust on him and Beermoneyforum.

In raffles and contests, there will always be the sore loser who has to try and bad mouth people because they didn't win. I have joined a few raffles, but I'm not the lucky winner. Oh well, that is how the random numbers fall into place. Recently, I've forgotten about this and not purchased tickets. I need to do this again. They are fun to join and support the community here. It is generous of you to add the funds to the drawing to help people out and they should be grateful for all you do here for them.
