When you start a business there is a time period between having the idea and then actually being able to implement the idea. It is very rare that you are able to see someone that has an idea and can immediately begin with the business within the next few days. How long do you think is a sufficient time frame that you should be doing research on a business idea before starting to take it into reality? Typically my opinion would be around four to six month to ensure in depth research over a sufficient time frame.

It depends on the kind of business you want to start , because some kind of businesses need a lot of time but the most of all projects needs from 3 to 5 years to reach good level .

You start off a business whenever you are ready and prepared for it. This is because, there are many things to consider and look into before establishing a business which includes your financial state, finding the best location for your business, examining your future business competitors and sorting out ways to deal with the pressure. And there are very many businesses in the world today both offline and online, and each requires a unique feature attached that needs to be met before going into such business. So basically, there is no specified timeframe to set up a business, you just need to make your research and try to meet with those requirements
Yeah very correct ,these are some of the process to undergo when actually making that move of starting a business ,you need to have that necessary idea and technique when making effort of launching your business , because business actually do take different patterns and direction I think ,so it varies , having goals are part of the most important thing

The time range is dependent on whether the business owner has had any prior knowledge about the business before or not, this is what would determine to a large extent how much time it would take for a business to get started. For one who has some knowledge, it is easy to start within 3 months, but those who have no experience at all tend to wait for longer time.

It is said that you have not started a business until the business is implemented. So it does not matter how much time it takes, just make sure you are progressing towards the achievement of your goal. And don't be slow about it. No one has it all from figured out, we all learn along the way. So waiting fir everything to be perfect before you start is not a good idea. Start early with what you have and work your way to greatness.

That is a reasonable estimation if you are considering the fact that the business will expand in the future as well. However if you are looking a the initial start up period then this is very long, because you will also be more in debt by that time considering the resources needed to plan the business.

What I can say is that, different people have different time. For example, a person can learn about a business for one year while the other can learn for more than two years. It depends on how smart and how passionate the person is. To me, there's no period of time
That is true, and each person does learn at their own rate and that is why it is very important that you have to have someone on your side that can help to expedite the process as well so that you can move into the implementation phase easier. That is why people start partnerships as well. It makes it easier to move forward.

It all depends on what type of business you want to build. Some businesses require many licenses and complex bureaucratic process to get accepted, while simpler business like a grocery shop doesn't require any specialized license. It also depends on your connection for starter.

I don't really know of a specific time to start doing business. All I know is that we need all the time needed to have a successful plan for the business. It could last for months, it could be weeks and it could also be years, provided we have an explicit plans on ground. The business with good plans will definitely be very successful.

Yeah partnership business is actually one of the best business to adopt ,if you could understand the kind of partner because instead of your business lacking progress,it would further improve more and if you are actually more knowledgeable about the business you could make more gains from the business

Yeah it's best to start early , because in a gradual process your business could develop more and you would start making multiple gains and profit from the business ,that's the benefits attached to the business , that's why most times when launching a business you should have a clearcut goal and understanding of the business

That's the real truth in the matter ,it actually depends more on how smart the person have been interns of delegating and carrying out it's benefits for more big gains that could make him multiple gain in the long run and process of carrying out the business to contribute more to its sucess

For sure i don't mean the time of start up period , the start up period should be in average of 3 month to on year maximum because as you said if that period more than year that will effect .

I do not think one year is the maximum like you stated, because a lot of things ought to first be considered and weighed. Things like how much knowledge and capital does the prospective business owner has readily available to go about the business. When things like this are not assessed before starting a business, one would only rush in and then become frustrated when things go South or do not meet the high expectations that they must have had in mind while starting the business.
What do you think?

This issue is subjective. It largely depends on the mindset of the prospective business person. If he is interested in starting it as quickly as possible, he can make it happen.
I don't see any reason why business needs to be started quickly. There should be enough time to study the good, bad and the ugu things about any business that we want to start to prevent loss. Most usually start a business immidiately they have money, this is not an advisable thing to do as the business may collapse if care is not taken or lack of taking time before stating.

I know what you are talking about. Trust me I'm not saying that he should start the business in a haste. Of course, any reasonable person will sit down and take his time to make the necessary preparations before starting a business. What I meant is that he should not waste more time in getting the process started.

I understand you better now. To be frank, we don't need to waste time to be factual if at all, we know the rudiments of the business. In fact we can start as small as possible and still be planning of expanding it. All those big investors now, especially, Apple started in a room. What paved way for them is starting early after knowing the rudiments of what the business entails.

Well, my dearest friend, I find this question too generalized to could give also a quite precise answer.
You know there are many factors to evaluate such as: money available, the right time to start a determined business, choosing possible partners, etc.
However, in my opinion, the estimated period of four to six months would only serve to study a plan with the necessary calculations and predict possible revenues / gains / losses. But above all, keep in mind that every business is not exempt from failure!

To be honest I think time is very essential in opening a business but I don't think it's have a range the ability to build up ideas requires time so some businesses require time but I don't think the range of having an idea and opening a business is much all it takes is there there capital and just a little time probably few months for areas survey and the rest.

In a case where you are starting macrobusiness you will require time for startup because of some orientations registration market survey and that particular business research ethics because inputting so much fun into macrobusiness it's not a joke so it's a nice idea for you to take time and think it

I think if its more than a year to start up you will loss your optimistic and activity also you will lose your passion , so that i said so , because that happened to me last year .
