When you start a business there is a time period between having the idea and then actually being able to implement the idea. It is very rare that you are able to see someone that has an idea and can immediately begin with the business within the next few days. How long do you think is a sufficient time frame that you should be doing research on a business idea before starting to take it into reality? Typically my opinion would be around four to six month to ensure in depth research over a sufficient time frame.

That's just simple and precise. One can only start up a business as soon as the necessary requirements for starting up the business are met and that's it.
True mate. Having all the necessary resources and a good plan is all you need to start a business. So you can start as soon as you have all this, there is no specific time to wait.

If one has the knowledge and resources at hand, it's possible to start within a few days. I think a month is sufficient time for one to get going if you are serious about it

With both the knowledge and resources, why then wait for a month. I would actually suggest you start off almost immediately, because time waits for no man. I don't see a reason for waiting up to a month.

What determines when to start a business are very few , they are your health status, time , financial resources , technical knowledge and environmental factors and once these factors are favourable ,you start immediately.

Yeah, you're right. If all these you mentioned are in place then starting off immediately is what everyone will do, wise ones actually. There is no fixed time to start a business, depends on when you're ready.

In my case, it lasted only few minutes. In my country, it's very easy and quick to open an individual micro-business (in the case of offering services like teaching, photograph, writing and editing activities). It's only to fill the online form and send it to the government system.

Its all about the business idea means which business u want to open. If newly invented business want to carry on can leads to down fall if demand is not up to the mark .Person should go popular business where market value is high not affected by any external source

I think that any business that is started will depend on many external factors because it will take into account various suppliers and also possible changes within the community of the business region.

You seems to make a good post here starting a business is very easy when you have money and all the neccessary tools are there to start the business, also think of planing and good knowledge to handle the business properly,so for me I beleive that starting a business all depend on money factor

It does depend on money however i don't think that it can ever be called something easy, because whereas it might be easy to set it up, to keep it going can be a whole other story.

That's just the point, it takes as long as you have acquired all the necessary information, knowledge, and financial backup and to me, it all depends on the type of business.

Any business idea you've got in your head remains only as just an idea and will remain so till you get the necessary capital to startup the business. Once the capital is there, I don't see what prevents you from starting almost immediately

Yeah, it MAY be a whole other story depending on the business adventure and strategy you applied while running the business. But the question is how long it takes to startup a business which is as soon as you get the necessary requirements

Definitely these are the major things that is required to start a business except the business is seasonal sensitive which could cause delay.

I can still say that there is no time that one can not start a business as far the person has have a knowledge, capital and find a suitable location. There is no fixed time for business.

You are right about that mate. There is no just a fixed time to start a business, it all depends on when you are ready for it and putting to consideration other important factors regarding starting up a business

Feasibility studies should take only a month or two in most cases. If the funds are available then you can start right there and then but you can use up-to four months to organize or secure the funds.

So yes I would also agree that the range of 4 to six months will be viable for one to start the business. But then again the best way to counter act those unforeseen challenges is to ensure that you start and only then will you be able to discover the right remedies to take.

It will depends upon what type of business you want to go into whether it a commercial or cooperate or individual. But before taking launching it you have to consider certain factors such as location, problem (which the business will solve) and other factors.

You are right. The factors you mentioned should be in plan in which to find a suitable location for the business. Then, as far you have made all the necessary needed things available, you can start the business anytime you wish.

The amount needed to start business solely depends on the type of business you want to venture into. Some businesses are capital intensive. For instance, sell of recharge cards is a capital intensive business.
