Travelling basically refers to visiting other places for a purpose. This purpose could include just anything. You could travel to other places for a business trip or for a enjoyment. When it comes to travel, you must remember that travelling costs you money.

In fact, travelling in your own city will also cost money because you will need to pay for transport. if you have your own vehicle, then you will be required to purchase fuel and other things like food when you travel to a different part of the city.

However, I am talking about travelling to other cities and countries. So, when it comes to travelling to other places, how much money do you spend? What is your ideal travelling budget?

The money I do budget for traveling and the one I do spend on it is greatly a function of the place and I am traveling to and the time I will spend there. But I am always make sure I budget more than enough and even go with my debit card to avoid being stranded.

Travelling is part of education and I would spend nothing less than $20 for traveling on a monthly basis. I just like visiting new places Inorder to learn new things.

I was travelling to Germany 2 times in 2014 and 2016 I think, visiting a friend, both times I stayed for a month a half, give or take. I was amazed with how much better there was to live at the time, to work, you could collect aluminium cans, beer bottles and all that to recylce at stores and get 25 cents each can or bottle.. That's like litteraly 30 mins of walking through the park collecting them and you get money that you have to work for whole day here in Serbia.

The Country looked amazing, I was in city called Harburg, near Hamburg, streets are clean, people are okay, there's everything you need not a few km's from the place I was staying at. I loved it. I was also in Hamburg too, visited the whole city, every popular place, it was awesome, for someone that was living in Serbia of course it would be.

Anyways I was travelling to there via bus, with both ways ticket, the one that also takes you back to your country after how much time you choose to spend there. I think it cost me fairly cheap the first time, I brought 50 or 100 euros even though I didn't need much but that would be enough, if you have where to stay, and the ticket cost around 70-80 euroes. Also the second time price was maybe a little higher and I also brought around 50 euros, since I had where to stay, food etc. But since it was a long time ago, this time I would make it atleat half the price cheaper to travel there. Plus make some money while I'm there haha.

All in all I've had great trips both times and it was worth it.
Too bad now with the War between Russia and Ukraine and Covid-19, you can only dream of travelling.

With the amount that you mentioned, it is very obvious that your travelling is within the same locality that you are. If not, the money won't be enough.

Lol. I can only travel within my own city with that much amount because $20 is very low amount of money and since the price of petrol is causing a lots of headache for the people, I really doubt if $20 would be enough to travel within the city.

It can still be enough. I don't think it is that bad. Just that interstate especially different regions may be somehow impossible based on that budget.

Half of the charge goes to vehicle fair , and remaining to the hotel room or others things we enjoy during the travel. Yeah , since the covid 19 pandemic , my travelling life has also come down by a large margin. I have also reduced the budget and nowadays I travel only shorter distances as opposed to far distance travel that I used to do before this pandemic. I spend half of what I mentioned in the previous comment.

This depend on where I am going to. if it is a hereby city I would have to pay between $5 to $20. But averagely $10 should be enough for my travels to see relations

You're absolutely correct because there are security challenges in my country. Travelling far would be very difficult presently. I would like to go for sightseeing in places that are not too far from where I live.

The prices of petrol have increased once again and now people are suffering in a really bad manner. Many people have to travel for work from one place to another and a huge percentage of the salary is being spent on petrol expenses.

Maybe this is the reason why people don't travel for vacation any longer but they only travel when the need demands it. It is just a shame that people are now lacking good lives.

Since the prices of fuel have increased at a high level, I believe that now even many airlines will also increase the amount of fare. My petrol consumption is very limited, but still even I can feel the massive impact of surge in price of petrol. I do not travel on my motorcycle that much.

You will even be limited to a number of places if you depend solely on your bike for travelling. The best thing is just for the government to find a way of easing the pain that the price on petrol has caused.

I do not use motorcycle when it comes to travelling to places that are located in far away places. This is because of fear of accident. I live in a place where the situation of traffic is very dangerous. This is why using motorcycle is not recommended.

Haha I just wanted to share my only 2 experiences travelling somewhere that's not in my country. :)
