I make about $10/day, which is a nice supplement, but I have heard of people living of their writing income online. How much do you personally make from writing online (gigs, blog commenting, article writing etc)

You can make money on writing sites, social blogging sites and paid forums. You can also make money by having your own blog/website, writing for clients and publishing ebooks. How much you can earn depends on your skill, dedication and little bit of luck. At this moment I make 90 percent of my income from writing.

With that amount of money, maybe I can subsist on that when I retire. That $10 is equivalent to the daily wage of an office clerk and I believe that is tax free, huh. But perhaps it would have been great if you indicated the details of your online work particularly the websites. I'm sure some others would be interested to earn that much. I only earn a small fraction of that amount since I am not working full time online because of my offline job.

Personally, the most I can make now is seven dollars a day, from writing sites. For me, that's enough already rather than not earning anything. And that earnings is almost equivalent to the minimum wage from where I am. Some people here even earn lower than that for more tiring jobs such as the waiters, the janitors and the side street sweepers.

So I really am appreciative of having an online job like this. I know some people think we're being paid pennies but to be honest, I don't really think that way. I appreciate this world that I am able to delve into and earn some money from.

Well, I can make approximately 5$ a day, but that is only if I work/write for HOURS. I have no clue how someone would be making 10$ unless:
1) They are copying and pasting their posts to different websites, which is pretty unethical.
or
2) They have a gig writing articles, newspapers, or a journal. And even then, you have to get real lucky, or know how to dig. I was once writing for an article, and they paid 1$ for every 500 words. So if you have 5000 words to write a day, go for it.

Otherwise, writing hasn't seemed like a way to consistently make side money.

I typically get around $8 a day (although it's hard to say in one currency as I work in £, $ and € in order to make that). I find that the best way to earn more is to check sites several times a day and don't get disheartened if there are days you can't earn much. We all have those days!

I would love to have a writing job(computer wise) where I can make $10 a day, believe it or nit that money compared to what is usually made. As I love writing and even more love typing. I have looked into article writing and some other ones, but it involves signing up and then placing bids for jobs. I did thus once and waited for them to say who won and would be able to complete the project and it took forever so I gave up.

If for blog commenting and forum posting you get $0.10 per post, that's only 100 per day. Which takes a while, but is doable.

If you have article writing too, you can do $10/day easily, but only if the work becomes available.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone know from personal experience good, worth while writing sites to give a try? I like to write, I love to do the research and find everything out about the subject that I can before thoroughly explaining it to someone. I just haven't had any luck on my own finding any.

I'm not sure of my daily total. Mainly, I find that with paid to post, you get out of it what you put into it. So if you do 100 posts per day, you might reap some rewards. I think that if you sign with multiple paid to post platforms, that would increase your chances. As for writing in general, content sites can earn you more per day than paid to post. I know that at Textbroker, once I made a few teams and got the benefit of higher pay per piece and volume jobs, I made a few hundred a month. Payment there is weekly to your Paypal. They're quite reliable.

I can make around $10 a day but that's only doing a bit of writing here and there in my spare time as I have an offline job that's my main source of income.

While $10 might be a decent amount to people in some countries, here in the UK it amounts to not a great deal so I'll never be able to retire from it, put it that way.

During Bubblews days, I can possibly earn up to $20 a day. But it is difficult nowadays. But you can possibly earn at least $10 through forum posting like The Forum Wheel, Paid Forum Posting, Postloop, Forum Coin, and this lovely website Beer Money Forum.

In case of the writing, the projects are not consistent. You can see that most of the projects are going to be paying low unless you have a good experience. In that case you have to make sure that you have a good buyer. Only then you'd be able to earn daily and consistently. Writing being hard project, I'd say get monthly project instead of daily. The reason being some day you may feel dry and that's how you can get the money stacked on monthly.

It all depends actually. The harder you work the higher will be your earnings. There are different writing sites available for experienced writers and you can also post on forums. So far I have been successful and earned a decent amount by posting on forums.

I don't understand these, I used to write for bitcointalk signature campaigns (multiple high level accounts on bitcointalk) and made probably around 30-40$ a day in total. I wrote posts like this one I am writing now about 100 times a day and made close to 40$ or so with it. Quite easy to be honest .

That's not true. You can work harder but companies like iwriter and textbroker have rates like 2$ and even less. So it adds up in that. And you have to consider increasing the price in that case. You can see that if you can make sufficient money for this to properly balance, then surely you can get around otherwise I find it a bit harder to earn good from those two sites. Not sure how other people even earn.

If I can earn 10 $ daily from online, I will leave my offline job to do more better. I would love to be my own boss and do what I want as its always fun to earn money online and I suppose on online we have enormous opportunities to do well and earn good amount.

10$ a day is not much. In fact that would only earn you 300$. It's easy to get that much money if you have freelance projects. But 300$ a day is not enough today. You'd need more in this world. You have to get around 500$ or more. Because otherwise you'd not get to the uncertainty of the freelancing. online 10$ hard to be consistent. You have to in such case push for better earning through other ways.

I think you are right but currently I am in such mindset that I think if i be able to earn about 2 dollars a day and plus my offline job I would feel content and even happy as well for some duration of time. But you nailed it well that with the growing inflation even 300 $ a day is not enough, looking at the expenses.
