I currently own a website which has about 2000 visits per day, My website is solely about religion. Making money from my website is something am strongly thinking of doing, however, from a few of my friends, they recommended google adsense to me. I journeyed in researching about how it works and how lucrative it would be.
I realized they pay less.

I may be very please if i know how much i would earn with 2000 visitors a day.

as long as he's not offering information for money ( asking people to pay to get those information ) , then that's fine .
on topic : that depends on people if they click on the ads or no , maybe those 1000 people , no1 of them will click on a simple ( unless pop-up ads appear ) .

I don't agree that Google AdSense pay less compare to other ad network but you can also have ad space for individuals that might you to advertised for them and also sell.your personal product if you have any. So inculcate other means to.

Nothing, AdSense based on CPC and there are very few CPM ads you can't earn from views. Your visitors need to click on the ads. Try other CPM ad network that pays well

Right on the money here. You're going to need a large amount of users and a decent CTR.

With some luck, maybe an average of $30 per month.

Depending from your traffic came from which country.
Traffic from U.S pay better then from asia region.
But if you want make money from your traffic, why not try cpa company. They pay better then adsense. Just a sugesstion.

$30 a month is a reasonable guess, it might be a little more or a little less depending on what your vistors do. But Google is not going to be the best way to make money - there is a reason why they have so much money - they only share what they have to!

That's right, google does not pay what it should pay, but in the long term, it is the most stable and secure alternative of all, precisely because of who they are.

Well that is an excellent point. I remember joining lots of advertising networks when I first started online money making ~ and only one of them is still online~ Google.
Nowadays I prefer selling advertising space direct....

This is a good idea when you have A LOT OF VISITORS and that way you can found people disposal to pay $$$ for appear on your website.

you can't really know about that it's all about which country your visitors come from and which ads they seeing and also if they click on the ads or no
so you can't really tell
