I had a discussion with a few friends about how many cars they owned. Living on an island it really isn't necessary to drive each day. I do own a car but I also ride my bike or take a bus when I can.

The world is changing so badly and if we want to stop some of the environment problems around we need to start driving our cars less.

if you could help save our environment would you be willing to drive less or even give up your car?

we have 2 vans we drive but not a lot cause we live on a tight budget
we do everything we need in 1 trip & that's on 2 paydays a month we
don't waste our money nor our time we recycle our metal tin & alum.

I think this is excellent and I do the same on the island. Here I find ways to reuse a lot of stuff that would otherwise be thrown in the trash. i make planters out of coke bottles and I also do art out of old tin cans.

We don't have cars we use public transportation going from place to another place. But me and my wife have plan to buy our own car we dont have enough budget maybe next year
I would rather walk the block and a half to the market or ride my bike. I don't drive my car except when I have to take my dogs to the vet or go shopping for food. I then limit it to once a month to do my food shopping.

:D cool beans, I've been doing this for years since I was in my teens.

No cads but I will have many cars in future :p
In years past I owned many cars, all different makes and models. I use to have a new car every two years. After moving to the islands I don't find it necessary to buy a new car often or even drive daily. Plus with the environment the way it is, it is better to find other ways to get around.

I'm working on trying new stuff with plastic soda bottles, a
bunch saved up cause once I make the 1st one I'll have
plenty of more to make.
There are many different things you can make with plastic coke bottles. You can make a green house, planters to grow new seeds in, planters for a garden wall make of plastic bottles, canoes, and the list goes on and on. They are also popular for plastic tree decorations and jewelry too. You can make earrings out of them or even beads to make other things.

walking is a good way to get around if the places you go isn't that far to get to.
