I have learning java for around 4 weeks and I suk so bad and don't understand anything, is that normal or I m dumb ?

4 weeks aren't actually enough to master a programming language (unless you are learning algorithms or have a previous knowledge about programming), i would say it's a matter of practice and how much you spend daily learning

Also, Java and Javascript are not the same thing. Java is an actual programming language, and is very complex. Javascript, however, is a scripting language that is most frequency used on web pages and is much simpler to learn and use.

I want to add that JavaScript now can be used like programming language with the help of Node.js (and now Deno too).
A lot of websites now use Node.js on their backend instead of PHP or Ruby.

Exactly. And all without the need for compiling or server-side interpreting.

I believe that mastering JavaScript depends on how fast the person can learn , however a minimum period of 4 weeks is the time frame for one to be able to learn it .

To master a complex programming language like JavaScript,it depends on your previous knowledge of programming!
If you already know some programming then you can easily master in JavaScript in 2 weeks, but if you lack basic undrerstandjng of programming, then it may take you upto a month

If you;re struggling to learn it maybe you should look for a mentor or interactive online courses that you're comfortable with. Different people means different learning method since not one learning method can be applied to everyone.

You can contact me if you like.I can teach you both javascript and java in no time
Do you have an online platform you display the way you can offer this service and the timeframe. It would be much easier before going in pm.

Mastering a specific thing really depends on the person, as people generally learn differently from others, some may master it in a couple of months and some may take years

I've been thinking to learn java for awhile but it seems more complicated than i thought after searching and read about it on the net. I think better to join a course or something in order to learn faster.

According to the freeCodeCamp curriculum for learning free web programming, 300 study hours have been devoted to learning (JavaScript), but in my opinion, you will not be able to understand (JavaScript) applications without having a simple background in (HTML) and (CSS), so you need approximately 500 hours of study So you can topic well. Good luck!

You need patience and hard work to learn programming as it could be complex in the beginning but your level of assimilation too should determine how long whether a month or six.
In addition one develops passion for it , he will learn it faster because the passion will be a driving force to help him in the journey .

Correct, passion would give vibes to someone to go the extra mile to take control of the challenges and looks for solutions. Having a passion for JavaScript would help to increase fast learning.
Yeah. I am currently learning python programming language , at first it was very difficult ,but now am getting to understand it because I have developed passion for it .

It's depends on how mush you spend to learn it and a your knowledge about it as i know you can master it on 1 month or 2 as max time
