Hello BFMers...
I have been considering creating a YouTube Channel for awhile, I was going to make a Gaming Channel, but I am reconsidering in making a Make a Passive Income YouTube Channel...
I have never had a YouTube Account with 1000 Subscribers and/or 10K likes...
If I post 3 videos a week, how long will it take to be Successful and begin making money through YouTube?

Posting two good videos per week will create a successful channel in about 2 years. You have to drive traffic to your channel by using Search Engine Optimisation. If you have a website or social media accounts make sure you promote your videos and encourage people to subscribe. If you have the resources you can give money to companies that can help you buy subscription by paying subscribers to watch your videos

I guess that the frequency of posting video might matter a lot when it comes to making your channel more successful. I have a feeling that Youtube's algorithm ranks channels with more content even more than other channels that have less content. Moreover, successful Youtubers have more videos as compared to less successful channels.

Consistency is the key to accomplishment on YouTube. However, there are a few prime motivations why you must put in the time and effort on YouTube:

Consistent video production is like having a conversation with a long-time friend. The closer you become to a friend, the more time you spend together.

It also provides more opportunities to learn about YouTube and its algorithm, which are critical to channel growth. It's not just about putting out a new piece of material every day. When it comes to achieving achievement, it's all about learning the process.

I would say that apart from creating content regularly, a person must also focus on channel marketing as well. A person could promote his or her channel by using other kind of social media platforms. in fact, I have even seen people sharing their Youtube videos on StumbleUpon as well.

Few things you should remember:

Your channel banner is the first thing viewers see when they arrive at your YouTube channel.
A channel banner is a great way to accentuate your channel's visual identity.

Making an introduction video may seem strange, but it is a terrific method to make an excellent impression on your audience.
Auto-playing introductory videos will begin under the channel header and take up the majority of screen real estate.

Even better, the initial part of the description you enter for the video will also appear on your channel's home page.

Also, make videos consistently but also do not lose the quality.

Reading articles and E-books related to making money on Youtube is also a great way to discover new ways to make money through Youtube and major social media sites. I think that Adam Rumanek's "How To Make Money On Youtube" could be a great book to read and gain knowledge. It is a free E-book for beginners. I have been reading it but, it is not that comprehensive book about the subject.

I will teach you the easy way upload 15 minutes long if you are doing gaming and buy views and subscriber to monetize every panel will work if you are in gaming once you monetize upload as many as you can at the start and upload slow when you are earning thats a proven trick
I am not into gaming, our channel is more like news related to social work. You can do there too? Anyway How much you are making in YouTube with your proven trick?

Also, make videos consistently but also do not lose the quality.
You have good points, YouTube CEO Susan is playing her own way, so to keep your channel monetized, you have to follow her rules.

It's definitely not something one could achieve in a day because it would need you to be patient, dedicated and always release good content videos on your channel that can actually solve a problem.
Many successful YouTubers didn't actually began and got popular, they had to be unnoticed for a while and consistent to get to the height they are right now.

Many Youtubers take years to become successful. Some do not become successful at all, despite creating good content. The main reason behind it is the fact that many Youtubers do not create a good strategy and overlook many key factors such as using the right keywords and Thumbnails. They also never promote their channel through other social media platforms either.

That's also right and this could be due to the fact that there's just tight competition in the YouTube space. Hardly will be one come across a particular niche in YouTube that there's nobody doing very good already in the field; it's not just one person but they are likely going to be many.

Its possible to build good audience but you will have to give it time though while creating good contents.

Keyword optimization for YouTube videos is essential.

Here are some tips:
  • Use a keyword in the filename of your video.
  • The title of your video is a logical place to incorporate your keyword.
  • Your video description should be optimized.
  • Use prominent keywords that are relevant to your topic to label your video.
  • Your video should be categorized.
  • Create a unique thumbnail for your video's result link by uploading an image.
  • Subtitles and closed-captioning can be added using an SRT file.
  • Increase the number of people who see your YouTube channel by including Cards and End Screens.

How you do that? I put subtitles direct in youtube by typing word to word.

Increase the number of people who see your YouTube channel by including Cards and End Screens.
How to do this? And what are the explanation of this? Normally I get bored with videos which have these. But these are still good for creators.

Its possible to build good audience but you will have to give it time though while creating good contents.

And to keep channel monetize, there is a lot to do.

It's so obvious you have to do lots of things. Who said it is easy?

It is true that almost every niche is saturated in YouTube but if you know what you're doing you will probably succeed.

Like some people have stated, it is very much important and necessary that you use keywords whenever you are posting any video because it will give you more exposure.

Generally, monetizing a YouTube channel takes consistency and hard work for you to succeed.

Yes, you're right about that. The thing with YouTube right now is that's it's only lucrative for those who are the best in their fields, who can create contents outside from the normal everyone is creating, and for people who are persistent and consistent because surely it's not for everyone.

If you know what you're doing or is an expert in that field then you might just to lucky enough to earn from your YouTube channel after you must have monetized it.

YouTube is just for those who can make it with Susan's demand, there is nothing others can do, you must have to upload videos regularly, and have to fulfil the words (language) need in videos apart from 1k subscription and 4k hours goal to make your videos eligible for earning.

But those people creating videos that others are creating are also making money. It is all about you knowing how to position your video in such a way that a lot of people will see it.

Take for example, there is a YouTuber who created a video on how to make money online with affiliate marketing and he got a lot of views and there are also people creating almost the same video and they're also getting a lot of views.

Do you mean that those people do not make money with it?.

I have made successful youtube channels before to be precise and I think that sometime its can only take you around 5 weeks to complete the assignment and I do beleive that sometime you need to build followers first before attempting to create the youtube channels.

sometime you need to build followers first before attempting to create the youtube channels.
This is a strange thing, how will you receive followers without making a channel? People will subscribe to the video channel only if they think those videos are worthy, and they should subscribe for more. If you are experienced in making the channel popular in 5 weeks, then there must be a lot of tricks for this.

Do you mean that it took you five weeks to monetize your YouTube channel or something of that nature?.

I think what he meant was that he already had followers in other social media platforms like facebook or on his WhatsApp group.

I also know someone that did something of that nature, few days after starting the YouTube channel, he got a lot of subscribers instantly.

The channel was focused on affiliate marketing so he went to his facebook page said that "if you are interested in learning affiliate marketing, you should subscribe to his YouTube channel".

You should never neglect the fact that YouTube is a social media channel, and as such it needs social interaction. If you only post videos without participating in responding to comments or discussions that take place among the audience, you are missing out on a golden opportunity to expand your follower base and make your channel successful. YouTube rewards top-performing channels in terms of engagement, whether it's comments, likes, or the amount of time your followers spend on your channel. Browse the Forsa website
