Many experts already pointed out the scalability issues that bitcoin have, ethereum too have scalability issues but that is being addressed in the eth 2.0 upgrade. How long do you think bitcoin will last considering its scalability problem?

I don't think Ethereum will take over Bitcoin anytime soon.m while there are faults in Bitcoin that's already been addressed in Ethereum it's still the most popular coin so bringing it down will be hard

Bitcoin is the leading cryptocurrency and I doubt if it will soon go away. Infact it's disappearance means end to cryptocurrency

That's true.. when someone say Cryptocurrency first thing to come.in mind is Bitcoin.. it represents everyone of em. Perhaps it can be surpassed but not anytime soon

What do you mean with scalability? That BTC has a limited supply? I think this is not really a problem for Bitcoin. I think if supply can added uncontrolled this would create more FUD than the limits of supply on BTC. If BTC hits end of supply, this will very much drive the price and demand. But I do not see BTC is going away soon

Bitcoin will last as long as cryptocurrencies last, it is obvious that in years it will be fully mined and the rest will be circulation based on transactions.

I think bitcoin will last for a very long time. Its scalability issues will be solved and the circulation continues. Even though it's mining may stop or reduce.

If it can get strong support despite having scalability issues , I believe that there could be more for it in future. Companies and Institutions are confident in it

Bitcoin still takes the lead even with all that which have been addressed with eth. 2.0. bitcoins still the leader in the market. No two ways about it

Bitcoin has lasted for more than ten years and that is a good number for a business to be called a going concern which is why I think Bitcoin would be around for another ten years at least

I don't think Bitcoin will fade away so soon. As long as the word cryptocurrency still exists, then there is a great possibility of Bitcoin still being in existence. Bitcoin is the leading crypto coin so far and I don't think Ethereum will overtake it any time soon

Bitcoin itself is the strength of cryptocurrencies so I also believe that it will last for as long as possible because the category of individuals, companies, countries and institutions holding bitcoin won't watch it go away.

Yeah, I also agree with you. Bitcoin is almost like a synonym for cryptocurrency nowadays, it has gained value and popularity that I doubt the coin would be able to fade so easily.

If it fades away it means everyother cryptocurrencies will fade away because bitcoin is the strength which other coins rally on, we can testify to this when Musk and China made decision against it.

From my particular point of view, Bitcoin is becoming like gold, it doesn't have many uses, but it is very valuable because people like to show it off.

Yeah , the interest in holding it and the blockchain technology behind made people to love it , the pandemic was a plus, now it is part and parcel of us and has come to stay.

Can a crypto currency fade away, lol, I really doubt it, the worst that can happen is that the value of the coin falls back to zero and it looses investors.

The value can't even fall back to zero because if US government own bitcoin you can see that it will be difficult for it to fade away

Yeah, a cryptocurrency can actually fade away but that's absolutely not going to be Bitcoin. It's the pillar of cryptocurrency, infact whenever cryptocurrency is mentioned what do normally come to people's mind is always Bitcoin. So I don't think Bitcoin will fade away
