How Is Payoneer Better then PayPal

S

SUPER SINGH

Guest
Every time when we get paid from most of the websites, we are required to pay a very hefty fee to PayPal and even if we withdraw at bigger amounts like 30 dollars or 50+ dollars still the fee is too much high but on the other hand payoneer takes only 2 dollars as fee so i feel its best to adopt it.

For example if we withdrew 100 dollars through PayPal then we may be required to pay more then 5 dollars as PayPal fee but if its from Payoneer then its just 2 dollars fee.

What are your views about it? Will you try to adopt Payoneer if possible for most of the websites?

You're indian so let me put the local context.

At paypal you get currency conversion charge.

Real price : 1 USD = 65
Paypal price : 1 USD = 62
Payoneer Price : 1 USD = 64

Paypal USD price * USD - GST plus transaction cost = Less money.
Payoneeer USD price * USD - GST plus fixed 2$ charge = More money.

For indians payoneer is lot better choice if the payout is through it. I have also started accepting kindle payout through payoneer too. And it's way better.

I think both are seperate if we talk about payoneer then it has high fees too EXAMPLE: if we withdraw money on payoneer then they cut $2 and $5 for immediate transfer and also when you withdraw money from your payoneer card then they will cut $3 per transaction.

I will choose PayPal here as it's linked directly to my local bank account and so I have no problems to withdraw my funds. If I have to transfer the funds then I will have to pay a fee of 3.5 percent.

I will use payoneer more than paypal only if i was able to get lower cash on it, i will not wait till i reach minimum of 50 or 100dollars to get paid, even if there is no fees on it

I think payoneer is better firstly because it accepts all countries and region,no discrimination and their trasaction fees is just 2% while paypal fees is more.I can get money in my country with payoneer debit card with ease.Paypal at times is just way comlicated.I wish site owners can start using payoneer though

I've been using PayPal in order to receive payments for many years now. I've been asked to opt for Payoneer instead but I cannot see its convenience. but recently i have used Payoneer to receive payments from one of my clients and I can tell that it much better than Paypal for this goal.

Yup, I can tell you according to my experience both with Payoneer and PayPal that PayPal is much superior than Payoneer in terms of the ease of receiving payments and making payments and the fee they cut on each transaction. But the issue we have here is that PayPal is not available almost in most of the countries so we strongly prefer Payoneer over PayPal.
Another reason I'd highly suggest is that Payoneer lets you withdraw your earning using any ATM and make online & in store purchases and withdraw money to local bank account.

The bottom line is that PayPal is more better but if you're in a country where PayPal is not supported, I'd highly suggest you sign up for Payoneer.

I do now support Payoneer for two reasons only -
  1. Less fees in comparing to Paypal
  2. Better USD/INR conversion rate in comparing to Paypal
However these two are the only factor, otherwise Payoneer must be used when we cashout a big amount and keep using paypal when we have to cashout small or medium amount below $40.

@Sheedal it difficult to opt for payoneer especially by countries that PayPal don't accept if one is working or earning online most sites owners prefer PayPal payment processor and one can't get paid with payoneer except with PayPal account or else one will be working in vain .

I haven't tried payoneer but I don't feel it's best as you need to earn bigger rewards to be able to get paid from it and even fee would be more at smaller amounts

Thanks @overcast You nailed it very well. Also the fee is higher. If we withdrew for example 50 dollars with payoneer then we are required to pay 2 dollars so we will get 48 dollars and with PayPal fee is a lot higher.

Payoneer is not better but its favourable at transactions which are bigger. Virily is paying with both PayPal and Payoneer and slowly most of the websites Will adopt Payoneer because users don't like to pay bigger fee to PayPal.

This is wonderful for the Indians, it is far better for the Indians then, I wonder why most sites are yet to adopt it, I wish Mr B will consider the use of this payment processor. It is available to lots of countries without limitation s.

Are you sure about it? At least from what I know, Paypal Charges 2 $ per transaction and Payoneer charges 3$ per transaction. I don't think PayPal charges 5 $, I may be wrong. But the only advantage with Payoneer is speed of payment is faster than PayPal, I think.

In the Philippines the advantage of paypal (and also skrill) is I can transfer funds from paypal or skrill without a fee to my gcash card . I have no idea how I would transfer payoneer to a local card
Paypal is normally instant, skrill a few hours
also , remember that both paypal and skrill have a very bad exchange rate, usually 4% to 6% below the actual exchange rate. j

I have never used Payoneer before. I always prefer PayPal to other payment processors. This is because in my country, the tax is not so high and also, I can withdraw the money directly to my mobile money account instead of withdrawing it to the bank.

Payoneer is better in terms that I can receive payments without a fee which is awesome and also withdraw to my bank account with 1.5$ fee only. But I also use paypal because it is the most used.

That is true. Payoneer is good because of its low or no fee. The fees on paypal always discourages me. I only use it because it is the most preferred payment system. Whenever I have a site that has payoneer, I use it.

A lot of people are just compelled to use PayPal because it is most accepted or used by money making sites otherwise payoneer is safe, flexible and more friendly.
