Do you mean that this site has no ads on it ? , If so then they might be earning through downloads on the image uploaded but I don't see sites that survive without having ads on it

Either they're just doing it for fun aka passion project or selling your data to advertisers. Or bombard members with email marketing.

Ohhh that is interesting, most of us don't read the Ts&Cs and other legal agreements before we sign on a site. But in this case can you restrict them to target your data for a certain advertisement that you think you did not approve? Also these sites that scam don't they sell our privacy anď other data to third party advertisers. If so is there a way to know that your data has been sold to third party advertisers.

Nah, many apps, programs, sites and companies are usually lying. Their ToS and user agreement may say that they don't collect data but in reality they do.

But in this case can you restrict them to target your data for a certain advertisement that you think you did not approve?

Not really. You can limit it by using more privacy focused programs, browsers, adds on, and extensions tho.

If you know how to program then yeah. Tracing from where they collect our data is mostly hackers' job since nearly all companies doing that now.

@Emoney thanks for giving me an insight In as far as data privacy, programming and a like is concerned.Hope to enhance my programming and coding skills and see how it will help me block and trace unnecessary advertisement.

I doubt anyone can completely cut off intrusive data mining since Google, Facebook, Twitter, Telegram and many more are all using trackers to get your data. The only safe way to avoid that is, unfortunately, never use internet ever again. Instead of learning programming, you'll have to radically change your online behavior, like, never use Windows, Mac, ios, no Google, no Facebook, no Twitter. Stick with open source initiatives like Linux.

Not doing away with it completely but probably be a consumer of what is eco-friendly in tightened privacy policy agreement and data breach. It's obvious that as for now it's impossible to do away with Facebook, instagram.Telegram, whatsaps, youtube etc as they are top pullers of driving traffic which is what we need right now for advertisement.

in tightened privacy policy agreement and data breach

Nope, this is not gonna work. Companies will simply bribe/lobby government's officials to avoid implementing strict privacy control. Just like how US repealed the net neutrality bill that allows companies to throttle the traffic speed to their competitor's sites. And detecting data leak/breach is impossible unless you're ready to reverse engineer each and every software, program, site you use. Using Linux instead of Windows is the first steap for your privacy.

I have gotten your suggestion that Linux is the best alternative as you have stressed. Its upon me now to use my discretion to come to a resolve of what will favour me because at the end of it all its about advertising so that I can drive traffic. Thanks for the advice.

Data mining is one of my concern. A few times hacker tried to hack my gmail, and once someone used my shopping account in a marketplace to buy something. All i can do is reporting to the admin. I'm using all that you mentions above. I'm worried with shopping platforms that have my cc linked. Do you think its better to input my cc everytime i shop or let it linked ? Or maybe use transfer from bank/atm instead ?

See,many site's owner open their site just for follow their passion
Some have sponsor post or sell ad spaces
Even Some of them used many scirpt behind their site to earn money

I don't think they are earning any money with no advertisement displayed and fees. Well they still earn by "pay per click" but I'm not really sure of even that are you sure there are no advertisement on the website?

Yes I have seen many such sites. It was a question and answer site, without any ads and their service was free.

Ooh, so how were they earning money then?
Were they earning through per per view or what means, I would love to love more about it.

Not sure how they did it. That's the reason I asked that question over here.

One of the ways to make money on the internet through website media is by joining an advertising program. Like google adsense, admob, popcash, independent advertising and so on. This is the most effective way to make money quickly through the website.
