yeah most are on free trial , because in that ebook there are some pages you can't unlock unless you have paid ,i have experience about one of the ebook I downloaded , I think when you download the ebook there are some commission that would go to the blogger or affiliate marketer tooWebsites that are asking you to download an e-book is not because they want you to help them in monetizing the platform but then they want to be able to collect your email so that you can be able to fix that other forms of marketing. It can also be in a form of a trial so that you can be able to read it and then be convinced about the product or the online course that they are selling.

yeah there is a particular amount of money been made after sales have been made , although the money from advertisement might be low ,but the major revenue comes from sales of the ebook ,but do you think there are other revenue generation means not considered yetI think that there are a variety of methods these sites may use to make income. Perhaps they have some share when a sale takes place? Maybe they have a percentage of commission when a book sells. There are many ways such platforms may make money. They may even make money through advertisements on their site.
Did I hear you say pay per download?well I never know about that what I know is that sometime the ebook owner will set a price when you download the ebook you will be redirected to a page where you need to pay some fair amount before you can get access to download the books.Just like what others have said,it is mostly a pay per download and they can put a clean url shortener or the ones with ads where they ate paid from the url shortener earn or a clean one where they ate paid from the owner of the product being downloaded because of having such a huge reach. If more people are downloading that product it then means the content owners are becoming popular.
Offcouse I mentioned pay per download, meaning with no subscription or payment but you get commission from the company that provides such services of pay per download. it's another way to earn more money ,there are some people that makes hundred of dollars per month from just being an affiliate marketer , I will check out the platform you posted , their affiliate program and others ,many of the ebook online stores are offering good commission for affiliate marketerMany E-Book sites also have an affiliate program that could help them make good commissions when a sale takes place. It all depends on how well the affiliate programs perform. However, I think that many popular E-Book online stores have been running for a long time and they probably make good commissions.
Yeah many are earning through advertisement , some actually don't need to stress themselves ,with little advertisement I think they are good to go , also some actually earn through affiliate marketing ,they join most of these affiliate companies and run relevant promotionsBy far, the most effective way to monetize your website is through advertising. While some advertising campaigns only compensate you for the quantity of visitors to your website, others demand that visitors take some sort of action (such as making a purchase or clicking on a link) before you can be compensated.
