I have see many sites that request visitors to download Free Ebooks.

They never request your email or any other details but just to download the Ebook.

Does anyone know how do these website owners earn money when visitors download Ebooks?

Some affiliation programs may work for that. But we have to nake sure that the material we have is very unique and needed by many people

Yes,I'm also concerned about that. I won't hesitate to download any ebook online that doesn't require me putting my email. It's better I willing give my email out than been coerced into submitting it.
Even if you want to give out your email just make sure it is not your personal email , it could just be a normal email containing not too many documents

Yes that's a good option. I guess I'll do that because my personal email has been flooded by spam mails. I may have to flag them all but it'll take time.

I guess for now you can just block the page sending the email as spam so you won't continue to receive spam mails to your email address that would be good

Very informative thread! As a proud blog owner, I'm always looking for various ways to improve and monetise my blog and I've thought about putting together informative eBooks to sell via Amazon. But having read through all the comments, I'm leaning towards the PPD option everyone keeps mentioning over the Amazon idea. I'll look further into this and see how that goes?

giving our email address to such websites is quite risky and can be very annoying because our email can be full of spam marketing which is of no use to us.

That is why i chose to give out non personal emails because i guess that is the best thing to do ,but when it comes to personal email i don't like giving it out or using it to register

a lot of affiliates have discovered a strategy of making money online called information marketing. what this means is that you find a question which you fine think a lot of people are asking and then you try to provide answers to these questions by writing an eBook an giving it out for free.
this will automatically generate interest from people who are asking these questions, the way to make money through these free ebooks is to find an affiliate product which is related to the questions being asked and then in the write up of answers you attach links to these affiliate products and if any reader of the eBook ends up making a purchase the affiliate gets a commission.

That's what I'll do for now. So many of them i may have to flag them one after the other. It'll be time consuming but it's the best thing to do now.

That is a good option..yeah mostly people who have good knowledge on internet have same emails which used for different purposes

I think it's through affiliate? like they get commission everytime they sell an e-book as they are not the owner of that e-book , but if the e-book is just free then probably just the ads in the website

You can just create a little time to flag all of them so that you can be rest assured that everything is now alright and that person won't send you malwares link

When it comes to receiving annoying emails, I just mark them as spam and bin them without even opening them. Or if it's something I've signed up to, I unsubscribe. I've made the mistake of using my main email address to register with various sites and sadly it's too late. But I do prefer using it because it's the one I access most frequently.

Really?! I still think selling eBooks that focus on very hard to access information can still work. But I would steer clear of trying to set the price too high - my starting point would probably be like $1-2 per download.

you can monetize the website itself using ads and stuff, and you can also upload those ebooks on some website that pays you for doing that (they can be found in BMF as well), you can use URL Shortners as a bonus

I didn't know you could find those types of sites here at BMF! Do you mind telling me which section of the site I can check out for that? I'm thinking of slowly writing some eBooks to sell via my blog but obviously, if there's elsewhere I can sell them, that'd be fantastic. TIA?

ebooks are only good if you have a specific niche. because currently there are many free ebooks or information that is shared for free on various internet forums
