The use of crypto has gone under the radar for a long time, and it was bound that governments would become weary of it sooner or later. Based on recent reports it seems that the USA is ready to tax the crypto withdrawals and trades. What is your thoughts on this? On the one hand, this could be a great help to those that are sceptical about crypto because it shows that the government is recognizing crypto, however on the other major whales may sell of and get out of the game. Your thoughts?

I would think that small investors are the only ones jittery about this issue despite the fact that those taxes would be on a certain amount upwards. I don't think the whales will be too bordered about this, I stand corrected.
In my opinions, whales should actually be more worried than the smaller investors, because if the tax works on a percentages then a large portion of their profits ill actually be tax that goes to the governments.

The news really affected the price of bitcoin and i think , the government should reconsider the tax they are planning to intiate , since crypto is decentralised am not sure if it would be fully effective

It would be very hard to have to implement tax and many people might not look on this in a favourable light as well. I think that perhaps it would be good to rather increase tax when crypto is used for payment rather than tax crypto directly.

Yeah thats the thing because crypto is been used as a payment system and they could do that and it would be in form of vat , but taxing crypto is a no for me
