Can you tell me how do you know if the website that you market for referrals is honest? How do you know you are not being cheated?

Do you have a system, do you go by statistics? Or do you just trust the website?

I have done a only a few spot checks in the past to test the honesty of websites with adding referrals and calculating commission. What I found was very discouraging.

There are many things to be considered to know if a company pays you referral commissions and you are not cheated.

1. The site is genuine

2. You DON'T Cheat with false sign ups

3. If the referrals are active

4. If the company is at a profit.

5. If the company has a reputation

6. Reviews from sites and forums like Trust Review, Beer Money Forum and social media especially Facebook Page.

This checklist will give you an idea to know if the company pays you or not.

Being cheated and not paid for the referrals you bring can really be discouraging. The only way I know you can know for sure is when you see that your referrals are active but you have not been paid. It is best if you join legit sites that will actually pay you for your tasks.

Well buddy, that's been right being cheated and not paid for our active refferal it's gonna hurt us badly, past I had a site one my friend referred many active use who were active daily but he not got paid for it, Its really got upset for him now that site is deleted! Yes we must join only legit sites, even we get small for tasks it's enough, because it's legit and paying hmm!

Not paying for refferal is very painful infact I will classify that as cheating inface i will say that such site dosnt need to be welcome for instant do you know if the person spend alot of money to get those referrals and you cheated on him refuse to credit his commission this will make him upset so I will stay away from those site

It's difficult to objectively investigate the honesty of websites with their referral systems;
(you can't refer yourself to do a spot check, and unless you know all your referrals personally, it isn't possible to assert whether or not they are truly inactive on the site, or if you are being lied to).

However, in a few instances I had opportunity to "spot check" my referrals earnings. I discovered that even some reputable, profitable and genuine sites skim your earnings:
- I caught one website red-handed swapping out one of my active referrals for an inactive one! This website, and one other that I found, just blatantly doesn't link up all your referrals to your account (MOST referrals are not linked to your account).
- Three other websites were nullifying the earnings from entire referrals at a time (making thse referral seem inactive, despite them being active in reality), a few referrals at a time, starting from the most active referrals, starting even from the first week after acquiring the referrals, in such a way that you never have a referral active for more than 3 months.
- One website stopped paying referral rewards for almost a month (system upgrade apparently) but never credited my account for back payment of referral rewards.

Regarding reviews, I have not seen many (or any) reviews that provides objective information concerning referral rewards.

Going by the reputation of the website basically means you must trust the website.

Referral earners need a union of some kind, that can somehow do independent bookkeeping of referrals and earnings to keep websites on their toes.

Many Reputed networks do not cheat but the ones that try to copy them offer to have the same solution and the payout but they don't count all your leads and that's how they manipulate the stats this is common among the advertising networks as well so you can say this is an industry trend and hand picked strategy to shave users and take more money from the advertising companies

This is something that I think has a very low likelihood of happening with the coming of technology. There is always a contract that you are supposed to send me the affiliate company about how much you are going to make on every referral. You can be able to track the journey of every customer because it is something that is already encrypted.

Review the affiliate program's terms and conditions, keep track of your recommendations and sales, get in touch with the program to ask about the problem, look out for fraudulent conduct, and, if necessary, seek legal counsel if you believe you are being defrauded of referral commissions. In order to examine your possibilities, you should also speak with a lawyer who focuses on internet fraud or affiliate marketing.

The possibility of coming across fake or dishonest websites exists at all times. When assessing the integrity of a website's referral program, it's crucial to apply caution, comprehensive investigation, and your best judgment. It is advised to refrain from advertising a referral program and look for alternative legitimate chances if you have doubts about its legitimacy. Verify the website's trustworthiness, online presence, and domain age.

Definitely if an affiliate program is Legit it will surely have some good reviews from which you can easily judge if the platform is Legit or not if you feel it is not legit you should avoid working at that time because you may have to face bad things later on indeed actually .

Examine the actual conversions or sales produced versus the quantity of referrals or clicks you really send to the affiliate program. It could be a warning sign if the conversion rates look especially low.
