So I Watched This Video From Video Creators Where A YouTube Employee Said That YouTube Doesn't Necessarily Rank Videos By Using Tags Instead They Are Used Merely As Way So That Google Does Understand Misspealings .

So What Do You Think About This ? What Is Your Stance On This ?

tags serve as the description for your content when a user is interested in a type of content like for example new trailer of transformers tha definitely if you have that thing in description it will show in results
+ you can use editor to use a curious making picture from editor in video to get more views
use words like "things that will amaze you " if you didn;t saw this you didn;t saw any thing etc as an example .........it brings more views

I agree. Youtube ranks videos on many diffrent factors not just tags. Could it be, views, subs, even the channel itself is a factor to be considered. I don't know about the google part.

For me YouTube ranks content based on watchtime engagement more than anything once you keep getting engagement you see yourself higher in the ranks and certainly you are in suggestion of recommended videos as well by YouTube algorithm easily

I think it all depends but when a video goes viral its viral and It will be monetized if you continue to get recieve more watch hours and engangement.But on the normal way your content has to be good,with good thumbnails and key words to mention but a few.

I believe the popularity of the subject too counts for the rating and ranking of a video like music by celebrity, cooking, how to videos, etc.
