YouTube has had a dark mode for a while that allows you to darken the background. I'll show you how to easily activate it.

Only a few clicks are required to use night mode on YouTube in the browser:

Wow I didn't even know this is how simple it is because I have always tried to put my YouTube on dark mode but it is not working I thank you for the explanation also can I put my Chrome browser on dark mode if yes how do I go about it because I'm not really used to the white background like that thank you very much

That is a brilliant question and I have never tried it as well.@tagore there is a follow up question as to whether it is possible to put chrome on dark mode as well.O t will be more helpful if you tried to answer it extensively.

Thank you for this piece of information. I never knew YouTube had the "dark mode" feature. I personally love the dark mode features on apps, i find bright apps are disturbing to ny eyes. It's easier to set it to dark mode now.. i do always set every website or platform to dark mode even my phone because it's the most pleasing to my eyes.. sometimes to much light irritates me even here in beermoney i use dark mode .and comments on YouTube are much more readable when it's on darkmode
