I am a Mechanical -turned- marine engineer, and I have lots of technical material, both in PDF and Word format on topics ranging from mechanical engineering, marine engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, naval architecture and shipbuilding, automation, etc. This technical material should be very useful to students of mechanical and marine engineerinng and can also serve as reference material for practising engineers. How can I earn from my technical material and my both practical and theoritical knowledge in this field?

You can personalize your notes. Like say by reading and teaching this on the board. Because if you are trying to just read or show it on screen it can be not worth it. I have seen most of youtube users making the graphics and animation for the notes. And they have earned more out of such content. I'd recommend you try something like that.

I think starting a blog of your own will be in order or alternatively you can start a YouTube channel where you teach other engineering topics the find hard to grab. I work in the adminstrative section of my company and I know most admistrative tutorials I learned online have been very helpful.
