These days many people are working online. And they maybe providing service or products to the customers. And in such case it can be pretty difficult if you find the wrong customer. In such case you can notice that as a online business person, you may face refund and cancellation too. And if you are using paypal or any other gateway they can often block you for too many refund requests.

So how do online business people handle the refund request without damaging the business?
 
The sellers should always endeavor to send the right products requested,most refunds stem from this and the buyers most times will not want to keep the wrong product,so it eithet there's a change or refunds are made. I know some customers can be funny but the seller still.needs to be in control to avoid several refunds at a time.
 
The conditions on pay before delivery should be very open and clear to every buyer, if this is clearly done,issues of refunds will be limited, if there is such then such should handle almost immediately

I think sellers too should be more careful and only supply what the buyers need and not what they have in stock at that time,with this refund will be curtailed.
 
You are right, the challenge is that sometimes the seller supply alternative goods which might not be pleasing, also the image displayed most times are opposite what they have in stock to sell. Getting rid of itches like these will limit refunds and dispute when selling online.

That's the truth there will continued refunds if sellers refuse to be honest. Most times the pic or image of what was posted is very different from what they have in stock and further go on to supply. No buyer will ever agree to such arrangements.
 
That's why it will be good that the commercial site such as eBay,Amazon, Alibaba should not allowed sellers recieve pay directly the should mediate by recieving the money hold it and when transaction is successful they release the money to sellers account.
 
To avoid refunds cases , it is better to be honest in your goods description and details , ensure what is ordered for is what you send don't improvise when you don't have in stock.
 
i believe that refunds don't affect companies as you might think ( unless the quality is really bad, which i don't think a company will release a product without testing it, that would be a very dumb move ), because people rarely refund a product when they are not satisfied
 
you can handle refunds with proof and also as you said Paypal and banks always take a part in refunds they work on it and investigate so you can't really not refund people when you offer something bad
 
I agree.. but in that case you're gonna have to reach an agreement with whoever you are promoting goods for on giving a guarantee ntee...maybe like a 3 days guarantee ..if the customer isn't pleased.. The product would be returned to the seller
most of people who are doing dropshipping disspear after a while from sellnig their products and most of them don't really focus on branding but just selling so they don't refund

Yeah, anyone can be at fault here so it should be well detailed by the buyer and the seller should also be careful to supply only what is needed and the business transaction will be smooth
 
For dropshipping and other online business ensuring you sell quality products that match the description of what the customer wants reduces the issue of refund, in business definitely not all customers will be satisfied so when that happens you just refund and move on

That's if business owners look at issues this way some believe it's their rights don't to accepts goods returned no matter your complaint. I have experience this first hand. They don't just want to refund

You are very right some business owners don't care about refund but a good business owner who wants a good reputation and rating will definitely make room for refunds
