❓ASK How Disturbing AdMob Video Ads Are ?

I was playing a 3d match game that was really nice to finish all puzzle pieces in specific time countdown. But without notice automatically video ads started several times which are really disturbing and i think breaking user freedom severely. AdMob earning is nice but do you think this automated forced video ads should be stopped as a rule ?

It all depends on the developer.
If he/she only shows ads for reward points in his/her game then users won't get irritated by it.

the annoying ads aren't actually from admob, they are from the application maker, he's the one who puts them and keeps spamming them, you can just turn off your network if you don't want to see them

I don't find admin ads annoying unless their frequency is too large that it disturbs the wellness of the game,I think everyone has the right to earn.

If I turn off ads there might be some issue with other apps like progress will be hampered. Cause rewards come by daily limited ads like daily bonus in some games.

Usually you have to buy their premium packages to disable the ads in the game else there's no other way to disable ads, until game has offline mode.

Good tips mate. Most of the games cannot be progressed offline. There are ways to turn off ads but I am not sure how much benefits i am missing so in short very disturbing games or apps should be uninstalled thats the best practice.

Obviously you wouldn't play a hacked or a cracked version of that game just to avoid ads,and ads are also not that much irritating to users.

The best way to skip those annoying video ads is to purchase the premium version over the game or app. The video ads pay more than text ads and are easily explanatory.

It is annoying to you that is playing the game. But it is a reward to the developer of the game. It is not easy to codes game. So we need to support the developer by watching the ads or subscribe for premium.

The ads coming out of nowhere is a pretty big problem which can lead to substantial growth of bad reviews of the game on the play store.

Good point yes. it may destroy rank and reputation and increases number of uninstallation. Cause competition is huge if they find issue on Mafia City game for example they can install another mafia game from play store.

I like ads and found many new apps and games as I watch it thoroughly as a review. Yet excessive ads might be disturbing. You know I came to know aboit Binance from video ads too !

AdMob has regulations in place to prevent some sorts of content, such violence, sexual content, and hate speech, from being broadcast in video ads. You can change your ad preferences and report inappropriate ads to AdMob if you notice any.

To make money and provide their games to customers for free or at a discounted price, app developers utilize video adverts in mobile games. Excessive or invasive advertising, however, can have a negative effect on the user experience and lower rates of engagement and retention. To provide consumers with a fair and interesting experience, ad networks, app stores, and developers should adhere to industry norms and policies.

The frequency and type of advertisements consumers view should be managed by controls that developers should take into consideration adding. They should also make sure that ads adhere to industry standards and norms. Developers should think about making modifications to enhance the overall experience in order to enhance the user experience.

In-game advertisements are a popular method for game producers to commercialise their titles, but it's crucial to find a balance between money generation and enhancing user experience. It can assist to lessen the negative effects of ads while still allowing developers to make money when they give players the opportunity to watch adverts in exchange for prizes.

When compared to static or banner ads, video ads can be more entertaining but they can also be seen as more intrusive. The length of the advertisement and whether the user has the option to skip it can affect how disruptive it is perceived.

Some people find video ads in AdMob to be quite disruptive, especially if they are not expecting them or if they are not relevant to the content they are viewing. They interrupt the user experience and can be frustrating.
