Hey! Would copy pasting from other sources damage your SEO even if you have copy pasted few sentences?

It won't damage SEO but it would be recomended add link to source. This is how you are protected from lawsuits and also nobody can't say you stole content. Add that sentence in Quote tags and you will have Quotation wich is SEO friendly.

+by time , nobody will start paying attention to your content if you abuse that , since everyone will consider you just as a copycat dude

From First post I think user will have big article and only add few sentence into his. Some definitions are always same and as such it best use quotes with link to source.

The copied articles would mostly likely not be indexed at all by search engines and even if it does would not ranked at all.

You need original keyword rich articles and ensure all the articles are internally linked to each other

Thanks guys, I found an article that states that copying your posts to other sites or to your site does damage your SEO. Hope this will help you out also!

Can you pm me the link? I want to know how exactly copy paste content damage the website (by formula or some metrics not simple talks).
Thanks in advance.

There's an extent to which you can be able to copy something from a website but then you cannot be able to know is the search engine algorithm is usually changing from time to time. There are plagiarism checkers that you can be able to purchase that will help you to grade how plagiarism free your post is on a grid of zero to 100.

If you engage in copy and paste on your website, Google will detect faster and you are going to penalized for it. Google might remove your website from search engine and you are not going to receive any traffic again. if you have been receiving a lot of traffic in the past and you receive Google penalty everything will go down to zero and you will not be able to make money on your website. This is the reason why you need to always write unique content on your website. If you cannot write unique content by yourself, you can simply hire a freelancer to do it for you. You must always run any content delivered by the freelancer through plagiarism checker to see if it is unique content before you publish them on your website.

No, copy and pasting won't damage your search engine optimization. To be on the safe side from lawsuits though, you should add the link to the source. You won't get ranked for articles or contents in which you copied and pasted on your search engine optimization though. People might lose interest in your website if they notice you copy and paste from other website. It's just best to post original contents.
